BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 Adventure, V8 G-Class Super Pickup
BRABUS unveils the XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE, a high-end six-wheel pickup based on the current Mercedes G-Class of the W 465 series. It delivers maximum off-road capability with all-wheel drive and a BRABUS portal axle system that provides 47 centimetres of ground clearance. The twin-turbo V8 develops 588 kW, 800 hp and 1,000 Nm, so this G-Class pickup combines supercar performance with serious off-road hardware. The extra-wide BRABUS WIDESTAR body, 22-inch wheels and 325/55 all-terrain tyres complete the stance, while an exclusive BRABUS Masterpiece interior elevates comfort and craft.
BRABUS builds this superlative pickup on a massive steel frame that stretches overall length to 6.23 metres. Three portal axles deliver huge axle articulation and that towering ride height, and a cockpit-adjustable suspension developed with technology partner KW fine-tunes damping on the move. The six driven BRABUS Monoblock HD 9.5Jx22 wheels use high-strength designs for heavy loads and sit neatly beneath the extra-wide WIDESTAR extensions with exposed-structure carbon trim. BRABUS uses the same high-tech composite across key body elements and the pickup bedsides, and a matte black roll bar behind the cab completes the rugged silhouette.
For demanding trails, a powerful winch integrates into the carbon-trimmed front bumper. The BRABUS 800 four-litre, twin-turbo V8 guarantees performance on and off road, launching the six-wheel pickup from rest to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. Off-road tyres necessitate an electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h. In this specification, the XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE pairs its black paintwork with a Masterpiece cabin in black leather and Dinamica microfibre for a cohesive, purposeful look.
From the 2025 model year, BRABUS registers every Masterpiece supercar, including all XLP pickups, in the Aura private blockchain and supplies a digital product passport. Extremely secure NFC technology verifies vehicle ownership as a digital proof of authenticity, increasing transparency and preventing fakes. Built to order, the BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE shown here sells for 1,161,000 euros as an export price in Germany, excluding 19 per cent VAT.
Since 2020, BRABUS has offered custom-built high-performance pickups based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. With sophisticated bodywork refits, state-of-the-art suspension systems including portal axles and up to six driven wheels, the XLP series sets new standards for tailor-made adventure vehicles. The latest highlight, the BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE, takes the current W 465 series to the next level.
Turning the five-door off-roader into a six-wheel-drive pickup required lengthening the G-Class steel ladder frame. BRABUS engineered a steel module with extreme torsional rigidity using advanced design and simulation software. It extends the wheelbase by 153 centimetres and houses the four rear wheel suspensions, with a longer drive shaft to suit.
Behind the rear seats, a new rear wall with a heated rear window provides a clear view of the cargo bed and the bright red BRABUS XLP frame. BRABUS custom-developed the cargo bed for this model, producing its bedsides from light yet strong carbon using the complex pre-preg process and adding robust, lockable cargo boxes for secure storage.
Soft-teak panelling lines the cargo bed, featuring two red BRABUS logos and aircraft-style tie-down rails for securing loads. BRABUS forms the side-swing tailgate from steel sheet, matching the bed floor’s durability. This material mix ensures maximum strength, high load-bearing capacity and an exact fit. A power-retractable step beneath the rear makes climbing onto the bed easy.
A dual roll bar with matte black coating and rear supports resting on the bedsides adds presence, while two powerful LED lights aid safe loading and unloading in the dark. Up front, the portal axle principle also underpins the independent front suspension. Custom wheel hubs with integrated offset gearboxes raise the clearance to 47 centimetres, and BRABUS mills the hubs, control arms, integral front support and both rear axle housings from high-strength billet aluminium. All axle components wear red paint to match the frame.
A titanium-coated aluminium BRABUS special suspension, tailor-made for the six-wheel layout, uses six struts calibrated to vehicle weight and ground clearance. Drivers can adjust damping from inside the cockpit. The BRABUS Monoblock HD rims use an eight-bolt pattern and state-of-the-art forging and machining. At 9.5Jx22, they carry 325/55 R 22 all-terrain tyres and maximise the space beneath the extra-wide extensions with exposed-structure carbon trim.
The exterior projects authority. Massive body extensions define the front view, while exposed-structure carbon pieces such as the radiator grille surround and a skid plate-style front element frame the integrated winch with a line pull of up to 4,500 kilograms. A BRABUS power bulge on the bonnet and a BRABUS wind deflector above the windscreen guide airflow over a full-length roof rack whose three LED light bars turn night into day.
Along the sides, exposed-structure carbon elements behind the wheel arches and carbon mirror covers add a sporting edge. BRABUS Easy-Entry rear door hinges open up to 90 degrees for effortless access, and additional power steps complement extended running boards adapted to the longer wheelbase. Integrated LED lights in the fender extensions illuminate the boards. The entrance lights activate with the BRABUS logo in the design elements behind the front extensions and the underbody lights when you pull a door handle or unlock via Keyless Go while approaching.
A carbon element on the tailgate with recessed BRABUS logotype and a rear fascia with a carbon skid plate finish the unique look. Under the bonnet, two special turbochargers push up to 1.6 bar of boost, while bespoke maps for injection, boost pressure control, and ignition help deliver 588 kW, 800 hp at 6,600 rpm. The 1,000 Nm peak arrives at just 3,600 rpm, ensuring effortless pace across any terrain.
A nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to the six-wheel-drive system and shifts automatically or manually via BRABUS carbon paddle shifters. BRABUS specifies high-performance MOTUL lubricants throughout the powertrain. From a standstill, the pickup reaches 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, with top speed limited to 210 km/h due to its off-road tyres.
A stainless high-performance exhaust supplies a soundtrack to match. Integrated, actively controlled butterfly valves deliver a discreet note in "Coming Home" mode or a full-blooded V8 roar at the touch of a button. Two side-exiting chrome tailpipes, ahead of the rear wheels, feature visual carbon embellishers with integrated red lights that illuminate with the interior.
Inside, the Masterpiece treatment showcases precision craft. BRABUS upholsters the cabin in the finest black leather to match the exterior colour, with "Dual Cube" quilting applied with pinpoint accuracy. For optimal seat climate control, BRABUS perforates the seat surfaces to the same exacting standard. The identical pattern appears on the inner door sections, sun visors and the leather-trimmed centre strip of the headliner, which otherwise uses Dinamica microfibre.
More than 200 cockpit elements wear "ROCKET RED" glazing, from switches and loudspeaker covers to air vents, bezels and handles, with door lock pins anodised to match. High-gloss carbon on the steering wheel, selected trim, and the pedal pads add motorsport flair. Entry panels with backlit BRABUS logos can change colour in sync with the ambient lighting. Attention to detail extends to red-glazed BRABUS logotypes on the vent grilles and lasered red logos in the door panels. Auxiliary gauges in the headliner inform rear passengers of the time and vehicle speed.
The BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE is built to order and can be tailored to the owner’s precise specification, from exterior finishes to every detail of the handcrafted Masterpiece interior.
