Aston Martin Supercars Electrify 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed
Aston Martin will unveil its latest lineup of ultra-luxury, high-performance sports cars at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from 10 to 13 July, as it charges up the famed Goodwood Hillclimb. Each summer, the Sussex estate hosts this global celebration of motoring, where enthusiasts flock to witness icons driven by legends past and present.
Crowds will meet the Aston Martin Valhalla as it makes its first dynamic appearance on British soil. Finished in a bespoke Q by Aston Martin specification, the mid-engined supercar marries Formula 1-derived aerodynamics with real-world usability, delivering hypercar pace to just 999 owners. Fernando Alonso debuted Valhalla in Monaco; at Goodwood, it will display that race-bred technology on the hill.
Aston Martin also returns with Valkyrie, the groundbreaking road-going hypercar that first wowed Goodwood in 2021. Its successor, the Valkyrie Hypercar, developed for the brand’s comeback to Le Mans’ top class, will roar up the course for the first time, its 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 promising a soundtrack to remember.
Joining the supercars in the paddock, the open-topped DB12 Volante and Vanquish Volante salute sixty years of the Volante name. The original Short Chassis Volante of 1965, combining DB5 and DB6 styling cues, set the style benchmark that these modern convertibles now aspire to, with only 37 examples built.
In the First Glance paddock, the new DBX S makes its Goodwood debut. Using an uprated 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that delivers 727 PS and 900 Nm, the SUV sprints to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds, its honeycomb grille and stacked quad exhausts projecting supercar attitude as it powers beneath the famous bridge.
Jolyon Nash, Aston Martin Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the highlight of the speed season. Aston Martin continues to participate in this annual celebration of the automotive world proudly. This
year, we are delighted to showcase Valhalla, our first mid-engine series production Aston Martin – a supercar with hypercar performance that combines unprecedented aerodynamics with F1 race-derived engineering and striking design. We look forward to this event every year as it is truly a great opportunity to showcase our ultra-luxury performance brand to true connoisseurs of sports cars.”
The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed opens on 10 July and runs until 13 July, promising an unforgettable fusion of British heritage, cutting-edge engineering and pure speed.
