Audi Unveils 584PS e-tron GT quattro With 384-mile Range
Audi expands its electric lineup by launching the new entry-level e-tron GT quattro, available to order in the UK from 24 June at £88,555 on-the-road, with first deliveries scheduled for August. The Grand Tourer produces up to 584 PS in launch control mode, yet its 105 kWh battery (97 kWh net) still unlocks a driving range of up to 384 miles. Thanks to 320 kW ultra-fast charging, drivers can recover about 177 miles in ten minutes, while the e-tron route planner automatically pre-conditions the battery for optimum performance.
“UK customers took delivery of more electric Audi models than any other European market in 2024, and not for the first time, we also saw one of the highest levels of demand worldwide for the e-tron GT,” comments Audi UK Director José Miguel Aparicio. “Just by looking at the car, it’s easy to see why it strikes a chord with our customers, and when you also factor in the versatility it offers in terms of range and charging capability, and its exceptional blend of performance, practicality and comfort, the sheer depth of its appeal becomes clear. This new version carries all those strengths to a new price point that will make this beautiful Grand Tourer an even more attractive proposition.”
Large wheels, a coupé-like silhouette, and an extended wheelbase give the electric Audi a purposeful stance. A low drag coefficient of 0.25 and controllable air intakes enhance efficiency and cabin refinement. A black mask highlights the inverted body-colour Singleframe grille, and a sculpted diffuser with vertical fins completes the aerodynamic rear.
Inside, recesses in the floor-mounted battery create generous footwells for all occupants. The driver and front passenger benefit from eight-way adjustable sport seats with integrated headrests that excel on long journeys. The rear backrest folds to expand the 405-litre boot, and a 77-litre front compartment provides extra space for charging cables or soft bags.
Adaptive air suspension partners with Audi’s intelligent quattro system, which variably splits torque between the axles within milliseconds to maximise traction in all conditions. Engineers trimmed around 30 kg from the S e-tron GT, sharpening dynamics and boosting efficiency.
Built alongside its GT siblings at Audi Sport’s Böllinger Höfe facility in Neckarsulm, the newcomer joins the S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance. UK buyers can specify the e-tron GT quattro or upgrade to the Vorsprung version, which adds all-wheel steering, a head-up display, Fine Nappa leather and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system to an already comprehensive equipment list, cementing the model’s status as a compelling electric Grand Tourer.
