BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE: Luxury Off-Road Pickup Power

BRABUS redefined sport trucks in 2020 when its engineers transformed the Mercedes-AMG G 63 into the original XLP pickup. Today, they advance that vision with the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE, the first model in a new high-performance generation that blends extreme off-road ability with unmistakable style. A bespoke body conversion adds a steel and exposed-structure carbon pickup bed, while the WIDESTAR widebody treatment gives the truck a commanding stance on road and trail alike.

Portal axles, milled for strength, raise the chassis and deliver 470 mm of ground clearance, improve approach and departure angles and boost fording depth to 916 mm. Adjustable BRABUS Ride Control coil-over suspension, developed with KW, lets the driver tailor damping, ride height, steering and drivetrain settings to any terrain at the touch of a switch.

Under the carbon-fibre power-bulge bonnet, the BRABUS 800 twin-turbo V8 unleashes 588 kW (800 hp) and 1,000 Nm of torque. Two larger turbochargers run at 1.6 bar, managed by the plug-and-play PowerXtra module, and breathe through a stainless sports exhaust with active butterfly valves. Engage Launch Control and the XLP 800 sprints to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds; electronic limits cap top speed at 210 km/h to preserve the off-road tyres.

Forged Monoblock HD 22-inch wheels, drilled for an eight-lug pattern, carry 325/55 R22 all-terrain tyres and sit beneath carbon wheel-arch extensions that widen the pickup to 2.10 metres. A carbon front fascia integrates a 4,500-kg winch, while illuminated BRABUS badges, roof-rack LEDs and side-exiting tailpipes with red “Launch Ambience” lighting ensure instant visual drama.

Inside, craftsmen wrap every surface in sky-blue BRABUS MASTERPIECE leather, quilted in the intricate “Diamond Double” pattern, perforated for seat climate control and finished with embossed “77” logos that honour the brand’s founding year. Carbon-fibre trim, aluminium pedals, an Alcantara headliner and an overhead gauge cluster underline the cabin’s motorsport flair. Power-retractable steps with LED illumination ease access, and special “Easy Entry” hinges let the rear doors swing open a full ninety degrees.

A frame extension and longer propshaft stretch the wheelbase by 500 mm to 5.32 metres, creating space for the teak-lined load bed sourced from BRABUS Marine. Matte-black double bed bars and a roof rack accept an optional rooftop tent, turning the XLP 800 into an expedition companion. Buyers may commission every detail to taste; the example shown lists €750,800 before German VAT.

BRABUS builds each XLP 800 ADVENTURE to order, delivering a tailor-made supercar that marries superlative power, sophisticated engineering and signature luxury—from the exposed-carbon tailgate trim to the ergonomic carbon paddle shifters. Combined fuel use stands at 20.1 l/100 km with CO₂ emissions of 456 g/km, reaffirming that this exclusive pickup offers unparalleled presence and performance for those who demand automotive adventure without compromise.
