Experience Le Mans Thrill in McLaren Project: Endurance

McLaren Automotive teams with McLaren Racing to launch Project: Endurance. This exclusive customer partnership lets a select few command an authentic Le Mans Hypercar on track while embedding them in the marque’s endurance-racing future. Participants step straight into McLaren’s storied lineage, which spans a debut Le Mans triumph in 1995, two Indy 500 victories, more than 190 Grand Prix wins—including Monaco—and nine Formula 1 Constructors’ titles, making McLaren the only manufacturer to secure the coveted Triple Crown.

“I’m delighted to announce that McLaren Automotive is collaborating with our colleagues in McLaren Racing to introduce a bold, authentic Le Mans Hypercar customer ownership experience. In addition to owning the very latest LMDh race car – a driving sensation alone few will ever experience – customers will enjoy unique, wholly immersive access to the development and racing programme that will underpin our 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship contender. Together with the associated track driving programme curated for Project: Endurance, this incredible opportunity delivers a new dimension in McLaren customer partnership,” said Nick Collins, CEO, McLaren Group Holdings.

Like the works WEC LMDh Hypercar fielded by McLaren United AS, each Project: Endurance car features a race-built V6 twin-turbo hybrid powertrain that drives the rear wheels, developed in partnership with renowned constructor Dallara, which is also the exclusive chassis supplier to the NTT INDYCAR Series.

"McLaren Racing’s return to the FIA World Endurance Championship marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for us. We have a rich history in the sport, having partnered with McLaren Automotive and raced and won on our first attempt at Le Mans in 1995. This customer programme will offer buyers an incredible chance to own an authentic race car and get closer to the action on track”, said Zak Brown, CEO, McLaren Racing.

Project: Endurance places owners at the centre of McLaren’s 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign, granting full, behind-the-scenes access to engineering workshops, private tests, key team personnel and factory drivers. Owners will absorb every development milestone and stand alongside the squad at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2027 as McLaren seeks to reclaim the Triple Crown* in a single season.

Each customer also enjoys a two-year McLaren track-driving programme that tours world-class circuits. Arrive-and-drive convenience, professional driver coaching, a dedicated pit crew, and personal race engineers ensure that every lap maximises performance and exhilaration.

McLaren will release further details of this ground-breaking collaboration as the Project: Endurance initiative progresses.
