Ferrari XX Programme Marks 20 Years at Mugello Finali

Ferrari marks twenty years of the XX Programme, its second special non-competitive activity for elite clients, following F1 Clienti, with celebrations at the Finali Mondiali from October 21 to 26 at Mugello. The event features a packed schedule of initiatives and on-track sessions reserved for XX cars, drawing a record entry list with more than 40 cars and around forty client drivers ready to drive these sophisticated, high-performance models from Maranello.

Several landmark models of the XX Programme take to the track at Scarperia. At least ten 599XX and 599XX Evo cars, developed from the 599 and introduced from 2010, represent the only XX models with a front-mounted 12-cylinder engine. The rest of the field comprises the FXX K and FXX-K Evo. The FXX K, unveiled in 2015 and based on the LaFerrari, won the Compasso d’Oro design award in 2016 for its “high level of industrial craftsmanship”. The FXX K and FXX-K Evo, presented in 2017, pair a 12-cylinder internal combustion engine with instantaneous Hy-Kers assistance to deliver a combined 1,050 hp. Advanced active and passive aerodynamics, precise electronic controls and 530 kg of downforce at 200 km/h distil Ferrari track technology into every lap.

The Mugello schedule opens on Thursday, 23 October with two 20-minute sessions apiece, starting at 9.00 AM for the 599XX cars, followed at 9.25 AM by the FXX K and FXX-K Evo. The afternoon sessions run at 1:40 PM and 2:05 PM on Friday, 24 October, and repeat the same programme. On Saturday, after morning running, the afternoon sessions start at 12.30 PM for the 599XX cars and 12.55 PM for the FXX K and FXX-K Evo. On Sunday, 26 October, after the eagerly awaited Ferrari Show, the 599XX cars return at 3:00 PM, followed by the FXX K and FXX-K Evo at 5:00 PM, each for 20 minutes.

The Finali Mondiali at Mugello close an intense 2025 season that saw XX Programme clients and cars race on some of the world’s most iconic circuits. Following a February debut in Jeddah, the calendar moved to Monza, Le Castellet, Miami, Fuji, Barcelona and finally Spa during Racing Days, alongside Ferrari’s wider off-track activities. Ferrari events deliver a comprehensive on-track experience with technical support, complemented by exclusive appointments and hospitality, ensuring participants enjoy an unrivalled programme.

While the XX Programme marks two decades, preparations are already looking ahead to 2026 with a compelling calendar. The season opens in Qatar from February 6 to 8, then heads to Le Castellet from March 18 to 20. The programme remains in Europe for Mugello on 9-10 April, before a double visit to the United States at COTA from 15-17 May and Road Atlanta on 21-22 May. The return to Europe includes Portimão from 24 to 25 July and Budapest from 11 to 13 September, before the Finali Mondiali, whose 2026 venue will be announced in due course.
