Hisense Unveils RGB MiniLED TV Breakthrough at CES 2026

Hisense, a leading global consumer electronics and home appliances brand, unveiled the 116UXS RGB MiniLED TV and Laser Projector XR10 at CES 2026. The company put display innovation at the centre of its global showcase and highlighted its latest breakthroughs in human-centric display technology.

As the Originator of RGB MiniLED, Hisense introduced the RGB MiniLED evo, delivering a system-level evolution that moves beyond conventional parameter-led upgrades. The company focused on fundamental innovation in backlight architecture. RGB MiniLED evo builds on the traditional red, green, and blue backlight structure and adds a Sky Blue–Cyan fourth LED to the MiniLED backlight system. This addition fills one of the most commonly missing portions of the natural light spectrum.

RGB MiniLED evo uses advanced 134-bit colour control and delivers colour coverage that exceeds 110% of BT.2020. This RGB MiniLED TV technology reproduces skies, water, and cyan-green tones with greater fidelity. The system also delivers professional-grade colour accuracy with ΔE<1.0 through enhanced, system-level colour calibration. Hisense also optimised the light-source design and reduced harmful blue light by up to 80%, supporting a more comfortable, natural long-term viewing experience on ultra-large screens.

RGB MiniLED evo powers the 116UXS, making it the first product to use this platform. The 116UXS signals a decisive shift towards structure-led display innovation and puts colour fidelity, visual comfort, and real viewing experience at the heart of next-generation large-screen television design. Extreme performance now meets lasting comfort.

Hisense positions UR8 and UR9 as its core RGB MiniLED TV line-ups and brings actual RGB MiniLED performance to more consumers through mainstream pricing and the widest size coverage. Hisense also takes responsibility for leading and scaling the category. UR8 and UR9 deliver flagship-level picture fundamentals, including true RGB MiniLED and AI-driven colour and scene optimisation, and they extend accessibility across 55" to 100" sizes. This range makes UR8 and UR9 the best RGB MiniLED choice for the majority of households.

For ultra-large-screen home cinema, Hisense extends its leadership through TriChroma laser technology. The XR10 made its global debut at CES 2026 and delivers cinematic-scale visuals with high brightness, rich colour expression, and stable long-term performance. It also offers an immersive home theatre solution for projections up to 300 inches.

RGB MiniLED for ultra-large TVs and TriChroma Laser for home cinema projection define Hisense’s large-screen display strategy and address both premium living-room viewing and immersive cinematic experiences. The debut of the 116UXS and XR10 anchors this approach and brings the CES 2026 theme "Innovating a Brighter Life" to life through display innovation that feels more natural, comfortable, and relevant in everyday use.
