Honda Aircraft Company Wins FAA AMT Diamond Award Again
Honda Aircraft Company announced that it has won the William (Bill) O'Brien Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Award from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the fifth consecutive year. The AMT Employer Diamond Award marks the highest distinction for aircraft maintenance employers. To earn it, 100% of eligible employees must complete at least 12 hours of FAA-approved training in a year and receive the AMT Award of Excellence. At Honda Aircraft Company, 42 associates achieved the AMT Award of Excellence.
This latest FAA AMT Diamond Award reflects Honda Aircraft Company's continued commitment to giving associates the training and qualifications they need to deliver world-class service to its aircraft. The company provides comprehensive aviation maintenance training, including human factors training. This training develops situational awareness and strengthens collaboration across teams.
