Maserati GT2 Stradale Shines at Tutto Bene Hillclimb

Last Wednesday, the “TUTTO BENE Hillclimb” returned for its second edition, an exclusive celebration of automotive passion that blends culture, design and lifestyle. Framed by Lake Maggiore, Maserati captivated spectators by running the GT2 Stradale up the dramatic road to the peak of Mottarone. A Maserati GT2 Stradale in Giallo Genio with a black and grey interior stole the show and lit up the hillclimb. The organisers did not conduct any time trials or speed races. The event lives by the motto “slow down to go fast”, presenting driving as a conscious pleasure, immersed in the landscape and shared among enthusiasts.

BorromeoDeSilva, in collaboration with Race Service, conceived and staged the thrilling “TUTTO BENE Hillclimb” along the historic Strada Borromea, a private road of more than seven kilometres that climbs from Gignese, just above Stresa in Novara province, to the summit of Mottarone. Approximately 80 cars took part, ranging from contemporary to classic models, including icons of Italian motoring and simpler yet significant vehicles, united by the playful rule: “only cool cars allowed”.

On this striking ascent, the Maserati GT2 Stradale thrilled onlookers with its crisp dynamics and the unmistakable roar of its Nettuno engine. The soundtrack and pace underlined the car’s character while the scenery amplified the experience.

The new GT2 Stradale writes the next chapter in Maserati’s vision of performance, created for the track and reimagined for the road. Derived from the Maserati GT2, which marked the brand’s return to closed-wheel racing, the GT2 Stradale fuses timeless elegance with pure motorsport spirit. It embodies Maserati’s racing DNA, delivering everyday usability while blending exciting performance with genuine comfort. Powered by the V6 Nettuno engine that produces 640 hp (471 kW), it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 320 km/h. It also sheds 60 kg compared with its forerunner, the Maserati MC20, making it the most powerful road-legal Maserati ever built with a combustion engine.

By participating in the “TUTTO BENE Hillclimb”, Maserati reaffirmed its role in contemporary automotive culture, combining tradition and innovation in an exclusive setting where iconic landscapes, Italian excellence, and driving passion converge. The GT2 Stradale perfectly embodied the spirit of the event, from the thrill of competition to the craftsmanship and style that define the brand’s Made in Italy philosophy. Maserati once again brought the emotions and performance of the track to the road, translating its legendary racing heritage into an exceptional driving experience.
