MeiG Smart Launches 100 Tops Edge AI Module at CES 2026

The four-day CES 2026 has officially come to a close. The show carried the theme "AI Everywhere" and set the direction for the global tech landscape at the very start of 2026.

MeiG Smart continues to target the opportunities created by global digital and intelligent transformation. The company advances its "module + solution" strategy and aligns AI with 5G. At CES 2026, MeiG Smart unveiled several flagship releases. They included a 100 TOPS edge AI module built for AI computing, an industrial-grade Edge AI BOX solution, and a 5G Mobile HotSpot solution that integrates multimodal AI capabilities.

These launches highlight MeiG Smart’s expanding role in the global technology ecosystem. The company drives innovation through core technologies and end-to-end solutions as the market accelerates comprehensive AI adoption.

Du Guobin, CEO of MeiG Smart, commented:
"From the scale and momentum of CES, it is clear that the traditional consumer electronics industry is fully embracing AI — particularly edge AI. In the future, almost every pair of smart glasses and even every toy may be capable of delivering on-device AI services.

MeiG Smart is enabling this transformation through higher-performance AI modules, more efficient intelligent and communication modules, and model deployment and quantisation services. Together, these capabilities allow us to provide convenient, efficient, and cost-effective solutions across the entire product lifecycle — spanning edge AI, cloud AI, and hybrid edge–cloud AI — and to accelerate the global digital and intelligent upgrade of the consumer electronics industry."

At the show, MeiG Smart put the spotlight on the newly launched SNM983 high-performance AI module. The SNM983 delivers up to 100 TOPS of AI computing power. It has attracted strong interest from customers in domestic and international markets. MeiG Smart built the SNM983 for the AI-native era. The module pairs extreme AI computing power with a new architecture that targets AI workloads. MeiG Smart also supports the module with an ecosystem for multimodal and fully multimodal large language models.

MeiG Smart has completed on-device inference validation of the Qwen2.5 7B multimodal large language model on the SNM983. This validation supports deterministic, high-performance execution for complex multimodal AI applications. These applications include automotive multimodal edge AI computing units, AI BOX and edge inference devices, and robotics and unmanned systems. The SNM983 provides customers with a strong hardware foundation to adopt evolving AI technologies over the next 1 to 3 years.

MeiG Smart also introduced the MT200 series alongside the SNM983. The company positions the MT200 series as an industrial-grade edge AI computing platform. The MT200 offers a flexible computing matrix from 24 TOPS to 100 TOPS. It uses a layered, decoupled software architecture. It also delivers a plug-and-play development experience. The platform combines high cost efficiency with remote collaboration, efficient development, and straightforward operation. MeiG Smart intends the MT200 to serve as the computing core for a wide range of industrial AI applications.

The MT200 supports robotics control and precision smart manufacturing, including 3D printing. It also promotes high-precision quality inspection and automotive edge computing units. Industries can also use it for energy and industrial monitoring. Its open ecosystem supports rapid development and direct deployment. This approach gives teams a forward-looking, reliable, and easy-to-use core computing device that accelerates intelligent transformation.

MeiG Smart also showcased the SRT8710, its first 5G Mobile HotSpot solution that integrates multimodal AI capabilities. The SRT8710 turns a traditional mobile hotspot into an "AI assistant". It supports AI interaction that can see, hear, and think. It also provides global mainstream coverage of 5G Sub-6 GHz and LTE 4 G bands, with high-bandwidth connectivity. The solution tightly integrates 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity with open AI multimodal perception capabilities. As a result, the SRT8710 meets demand for ultra-fast network speeds and intelligent network connections. It also delivers a new intelligent connectivity and interaction experience for mobile office use, international business travel, new retail, and innovative services.

Beyond these flagship launches, MeiG Smart continues to expand its established portfolio. The company offers 4G and 5G communication modules, intelligent modules, high-performance AI modules, automotive modules, and multi-domain solutions. Customers around the world continue to track these developments. MeiG Smart remains committed to supporting digital and intelligent transformation across industries and to advancing a fully connected, intelligent world.
