Pimax PCVR Headsets at CES 2026: Dream Air and Crystal

At CES 2026, Pimax introduced its next-generation Pimax PCVR headsets to the public and demonstrated the final production model of the Crystal Super Micro-OLED alongside the Dream Air and Dream Air SE. These three headsets showcase Pimax’s latest work in micro-OLED displays and pancake optics, further strengthening its position in ultra-high-resolution and ultra-wide-field-of-view VR.

CES 2026 also marks a significant milestone for Pimax, as the company enters its 11th year and returns for its eighth appearance at CES. Pimax invites attendees to try hands-on demonstrations that pair next-gen headset technology with racing and flight simulation motion rigs, plus immersive VR systems. The show floor features integrations from DOF Reality, Trak Racer, Virtuix, FXG, and EOZ VR, and Pimax highlights additional partners across the four-day event.

The Dream Air took centre stage and earned a CES 2026 Picks Award from TechRadar Pro. It also drew strong interest from major media and creators, including Linus Sebastian (Linus Tech Tips), HardwareZone, Gizmodo, MoguraVR, Thrillseeker, The Virtual Reality Show, VoodooDE, and others.

CES kicks off the year, and Pimax brings its latest PCVR technology to the show each time. The Crystal Super Micro-OLED and Dream Air use the same optical stack, with 4K Sony micro-OLED panels per eye and Pimax’s ConcaveView lens technology. The Dream Air SE offers a more affordable entry into the range and also uses ConcaveView lenses. CES gives worldwide audiences their first chance to share feedback on these headsets, and early testers have offered unanimous praise.

Pimax also demonstrates how a complete VR ecosystem unlocks the full potential of high-end PCVR through close collaboration with leading hardware partners. CES visitors can experience realistic motion feedback, precise control, and deeply immersive environments with Pimax PCVR headsets across racing, flight, and active VR setups, including treadmill setups.

Robin Weng, founder of Pimax, said, "CES feels like coming home. By now, it's a tradition to kick off each year here with tech media, content creators, and enthusiasts. It gives us not only feedback on our new devices, but also validation and meaning to our work as we keep pushing forward. Together with our VR partners, we create experiences that aren't possible anywhere else."
