Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition Debuts in St Moritz

Rimac Automobili delivered the first Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition to its owner at The I.C.E. St. Moritz. The handover marked the public debut of this exclusive ten-car series at one of the world’s most prestigious winter automotive gatherings.

The Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition took centre stage against the frozen Lake St. Moritz, 1,800 metres above sea level, in a bespoke two-tone finish. Cote D’Azur glossy paint covers the upper body, while Titanium Silver glossy paint defines the lower section. A dramatic colour split sharpens the Nevera R’s aggressive stance. An ultra-thin central roof stripe, which narrows to just two millimetres at its thinnest point, carries Rimac’s signature cravat motif and subtle circuit board graphics.

Rimac presented the Nevera R Founder’s Edition in a static showcase alongside Mate Rimac’s personal Nevera. He will drive his car on the frozen lake on Friday, 30th January. Rimac began Nevera R customer deliveries in late 2025, and this limited Founder’s Edition highlights the peak of the brand’s bespoke personalisation.

Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group and CEO of Bugatti Rimac, said: “The I.C.E. St. Moritz represents everything we love about automotive culture: encouraging the owners of the rarest and most significant cars in the world to get out and use them to not only enjoy them but share them with the world. Delivering the first Nevera R Founder’s Edition here feels right, as a car that offers our customers more access into our world than ever before.”

The Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition offers far more than the vehicle itself. Rimac will build only ten examples worldwide, and it has allocated all of them within a week of the private announcement. Each Founder’s Edition gives its owner unprecedented access to the world of Rimac. Owners begin with a deeply personal configuration session at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb, where they work directly with Mate Rimac, Design Director Frank Heyl and the design team through advanced V-RED visualisation software.

Throughout ownership, the ten Founder’s Club members receive priority invitations to product previews, direct access to Bugatti Rimac headquarters, invitations to performance showcases and record-breaking runs, involvement in strategy discussions with the leadership team, and input into research and development for future vehicles. This first car also shows the full scope of Rimac personalisation. The interior uses full leather dashboard sections in Indigo Blue with bespoke stitching. The seats feature Indigo Blue primary upholstery, Silver driver seat upholstery, and heat-stamp detailing. Silver and Dark Blue stitching runs through the central roof stripe, while matte black carbon tint finishes the dashboard console. Dark grey satin anodisation completes the switchgear. Mate and other team members added another bespoke detail when they signed the door sill in silver marker.

The Rimac Nevera R marks a new chapter in the electric hypercar's sales. Rimac shifted the car from Hyper GT to Hyper Sportscar and gave it 2,107 hp through four individual motors. Rimac’s next-generation All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system, or R-AWTV, manages that power. The Nevera R also won a Red Dot Award for Product Design. It recorded a 0-60 mph time of 1.66 seconds and a top speed of 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph). It also set 24 verified performance world records in 2025 alone.

Enhanced aerodynamics add 15% more downforce than the standard Nevera. New Michelin Cup 2 tyres cut total understeer by 10% and increase lateral grip by 5%. Those changes reduce the Nardo Handling Track lap time by 3.8 seconds. Rimac built the Nevera R around its next-generation 108kWh battery pack, and the car reaches 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66 seconds while maintaining the refinement and usability expected of a Rimac hypercar.

After delivery at The I.C.E., each Founder’s Edition owner will receive specialist driver training from Rimac’s professional test team, whose members have covered tens of thousands of miles while developing the Nevera and Nevera R. Mate. Rimac personally oversees the delivery of all ten examples and ensures each owner receives the full Founder’s Edition experience.

The I.C.E. St. Moritz takes place on January 30 and 31, 2026, and it has become one of Europe’s most prestigious automotive gatherings. Historic racing legends and contemporary hypercars meet on the frozen lake, which gives Rimac’s most exclusive creation a remarkable setting for its public debut. Rimac will build just 40 Nevera R cars worldwide, and the ten Founder’s Edition models represent the ultimate expression of the brand’s personalisation philosophy and its commitment to extraordinary experiences for its most visionary clients.
