Sonus Faber and Automobili Lamborghini announce the next chapter of their partnership with the debut of the Il Cremonese Ex3me - Automobili Lamborghini Edition, an ultra-exclusive high-end loudspeaker premiering during Monterey Car Week at the Lamborghini Villa in Pebble Beach, California. They fuse the emotion of an Italian super sports car with the soul of Italian sound to deliver a refined home listening experience for discerning audiophiles.
Born from a shared philosophy of innovation, craftsmanship, and design, the collaboration unites Lamborghini’s thrilling aesthetics and engineering with the inimitable acoustic signature of Sonus Faber. The limited-edition Il Cremonese arrives as 50 individually numbered pairs in five iconic Lamborghini finishes: Giallo Countach, Arancio Egon, Blu Marinus Matte, Verde Mercurius, and Nero Nemesis Matte, appealing to luxury home audio collectors and fans of Italian design.

This limited edition builds on the award-winning Ex3me, reimagined with bespoke technical and design flourishes that reflect both brands’ ethos. Signature elements include an angular five-sided cabinet, sculpted contours that echo Lamborghini super sports cars, finishing details in Corsatex by Dinamica and carbon fibre, and the iconic Automobili Lamborghini shield logo, creating a statement piece for premium hi-fi systems.
Each speaker is handcrafted by Sonus Faber using natural materials and engineered for uncompromising acoustic performance. Highlights include a Beryllium DLC diaphragm tweeter, derived directly from the Ex3ma, that provides superb microdynamics and resolution with a resonant frequency above 35 kHz; a 180 mm natural fibre cone midrange driver made from air-dried cellulose, Kapok, and Kenaf for signature midrange warmth and realism; dual 180 mm woofers with Sonus Faber’s sandwich cone construction for deep, controlled bass with midrange coherence; nanocarbon-fibre reinforced side-mounted infrawoofers in sealed stealth reflex chambers for extended low-frequency output; and a fully re-engineered Paracross Topology™ crossover network with premium Mundorf components, optimised for clarity, phase precision, and a lower noise floor.
