BRABUS 1000 Hybrid Supercar: 1,000 hp of Electrified Power

BRABUS introduces the BRABUS 1000 hybrid supercar, built on the Mercedes‑AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE 2+2 coupé, to deliver 1,000 horsepower and 1,820 Nm of torque. The twin‑turbo V8, enlarged to 4.5 litres, partners a 150 kW electric motor and 4MATIC+ all‑wheel drive, propelling the car from 0–100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, surging to 300 km/h in 23.6 seconds and reaching an electronically capped 320 km/h. Engineers increase cylinder bore and stroke with forged pistons and a precision‑balanced billet‑aluminium crankshaft, while two bespoke BRABUS turbochargers and a stainless high‑performance exhaust with electronically controlled butterfly valves deliver the signature soundtrack; drivers may select the discreet “Coming home” mode or unleash full V8 thunder.

The exposed‑carbon aerodynamics package, shaped in the wind tunnel, generates stabilising downforce and a striking presence. A front spoiler with raised flaps, carbon canards, grille inserts and a rear wing all work with a carbon diffuser that frames four 76 mm tailpipes. BRABUS Monoblock Z “PLATINUM EDITION” forged wheels—21‑inch front, 22‑inch rear—fill the arches, and Continental or Hankook high‑performance tyres, up to 335/25 ZR 22, translate power into grip.

Height‑adjustable sports springs, co‑developed with KW, drop the ride by up to 20 millimetres, lowering the centre of gravity and sharpening handling. The SPEEDSHIFT MCT nine‑speed gearbox and an automatic two‑speed unit for the electric motor distribute output seamlessly, while MOTUL high‑tech lubricants protect every moving part. Extensive dyno, road and track testing guarantee both exhilarating performance and compliance with the EURO 6D ISC‑FCM emissions standard.

Inside, the Masterpiece cabin blends black leather with matching Dinamica microfibre, quilted in the distinctive “Shell” pattern, while “Heritage” embossing honours BRABUS’ 1977 origins. Carbon scuff plates display an illuminated BRABUS logo that syncs with ambient lighting, and gloss‑carbon trim, “ROCKET RED” highlights and aluminium pedals reinforce sporting intent.

As a member of the Aura Blockchain Consortium, BRABUS registers each car on the private blockchain, issuing a Digital Product Passport that certifies ownership, deters counterfeits and offers transparent provenance. The BRABUS 1000 commands a recommended export price of €445,900 in Germany, excluding VAT, and joins a lineage of increased‑displacement engines that has defined the marque since the 1980s.

With its hybrid powertrain, carbon aerodynamics, precision engineering and bespoke interior, the BRABUS 1000 claims a place among the world’s most potent and exclusive hybrid supercars, blending uncompromising performance with luxury craftsmanship and cutting‑edge digital security.
