Every component in the Model Y Performance aero kit functions as part of a unified system. The range offers a broad selection of exterior parts, allowing owners to customise their car to suit their preferences. You can purchase components individually or as a complete aero kit, giving owners of this new platform genuine flexibility.
The package includes a front lip splitter that directs airflow under and around the nose, improving front-end stability and reducing lift. A left and right pair of front aero canards manages high-pressure air along the bumper corners to sharpen turn-in and side stability. High-efficiency rear fins smooth airflow along the flanks to reduce turbulence, while a high-efficiency rear diffuser extension accelerates air exit beneath the car, cutting drag and generating downforce. A high-efficiency boot spoiler complements the diffuser to balance pressure zones and stabilise the rear at motorway speeds.
The 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance marks a significant step forward for electric performance SUVs, with dual-motor all-wheel drive producing up to 510 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. In combination, the rear fins, diffuser extension, and boot spoiler achieve an estimated 2.4% reduction in drag, equivalent to roughly 40 N less resistance, and an improvement of approximately 534 N in net downforce, providing greater grip and motorway stability—CFD-tuned geometry enhances real-world efficiency wwithout compromisingnoise or ride quality
