BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK and 900 Cabriolet on Bentley GT
With the new BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK Coupe and the open-top BRABUS 900, the German luxury mobility brand introduces, for the first time in nearly five decades, two BRABUS Masterpiece Supercars based on the latest Bentley Continental GT Speed and Bentley Continental GTC Speed. BRABUS engineers, technicians and designers created a comprehensive refinement programme for these British 2+2 grand tourers, blending Bentley heritage with German performance engineering and bespoke craftsmanship.
BRABUS delivers a performance upgrade that lifts the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 by 110 hp. In combination with the standard hybrid system, the result is a total output of 662 kW / 900 hp and a combined system torque of 1,100 Nm. This powertrain propels both BRABUS 900 supercars from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds. The high-performance coupe reaches a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph), while the cabriolet, shown in the exclusive colour “Pale Brown,” uses an electronic limiter to cap top speed at 285 km/h (172 mph).
BRABUS unlocks sharper response and stronger acceleration by fitting a bespoke forced-induction package with two BRABUS high-performance turbochargers and a flow-optimised carbon BRABUS airbox. BRABUS recalibrates the engine management for ignition, injection and boost pressure to suit the upgraded hardware. With these changes, the combustion engine produces 522 kW / 710 hp at 6,100 rpm, up from 441 kW / 600 hp, while maximum torque rises from 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) to 900 Nm (664 lb-ft), delivered consistently between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm. Bentley’s standard 140 kW / 190 hp electric motor completes the hybrid drivetrain, and technology partner MOTUL supplies the high-tech lubricants for the drivetrain. Together, coupe and cabriolet deliver a system output of 662 kW / 900 hp and a total system torque of 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft), channelled through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission for rapid, seamless shifts.
BRABUS also shapes the sound as carefully as the speed. The BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system creates a distinctive acoustic signature, and its integrated active valve control lets the driver switch between a subtle “Coming Home” mode and a pronounced, motorsport-inspired V8 sound.
To match the enhanced power, BRABUS upgrades the exterior with tailor-made carbon body components that combine sporty elegance, aerodynamic efficiency and precise fit. Buyers can choose exposed-structure carbon-fibre elements with either a high-gloss or matte coating. BRABUS designs a complete front fascia for both coupe and cabriolet, giving each car a sharper, more purposeful presence while optimising airflow to the radiators and front brakes. The exposed-carbon lower section integrates a front spoiler and sculpted air intakes in the centre and sides, and the aero package reduces front-axle lift at high speeds to improve stability.
At the rear, BRABUS fits exposed-carbon spoilers for both body styles and adds a BRABUS carbon diffuser that suits the coupe and the cabriolet. The diffuser frames four carbon-sheathed titanium tailpipes from the BRABUS sports exhaust system, while exposed-carbon BRABUS emblems on the bonnet and boot lid add crisp finishing touches.
BRABUS completes the stance with BRABUS Monoblock ZM “PLATINUM EDITION” 22-inch wheels, developed specifically for the Bentley Continental GT models and manufactured using advanced forging and CNC machining. The large disc layout, 20 delicate spokes and centre-lock-style hub cover deliver a modern motorsport look without sacrificing luxury detail. Up front, 10Jx22 wheels with 275/35 ZR 22 performance tyres fill the arches, while 315/30 ZR 22 tyres on 11.5-inch-wide wheels at the rear provide strong traction and lateral grip. The BRABUS lowering system drops the ride height of both coupe and cabriolet by around 20 millimetres (0.8 in.), sharpening handling and stability while maintaining comfort.
Inside, BRABUS offers virtually unlimited options for the refinement of any Continental GT or GTC cabin, and the brand crafts each BRABUS Masterpiece interior in-house to the owner’s personal specification. The palette spans premium leathers and high-tech microfibres in almost any shade, with a wide choice of upholstery designs, quilting patterns, embossing and perforations. Drivers who want a more overtly performance-led feel can specify custom carbon elements throughout the interior.
Both BRABUS 900 supercars shown feature Masterpiece interiors trimmed in exceptionally soft, hard-wearing leather. The BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK, as its name suggests, wears deep black BRABUS leather throughout, while the cabriolet features a “Nocturne Brown” cabin. BRABUS finishes the seat surfaces with meticulous quilting and perforation in the signature BRABUS “Shell” design, then adds embossed BRABUS “Double-B” logos for a subtle statement. BRABUS repeats the same pattern on the fine-leather floor sections and in both vehicles’ luggage compartments, while the inner door and side panels carry embossed “Shell” motifs to create a cohesive, crafted look.
BRABUS adds further bespoke details that owners notice every time they climb aboard. BRABUS fits exposed-carbon entry panels with illuminated BRABUS logos, then reinforces the athletic theme with high-grade carbon components for the dashboard and centre console. Anodised aluminium elements, including BRABUS pedal pads and a footrest with an illuminated BRABUS logo in the footwell, complete the driver-focused ambience. BRABUS also reworks the dashboard clock with an all-new dial design and the characteristic signature of the German luxury manufactory.
The BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK shown here is priced at 489,200 euros. The BRABUS 900 Cabriolet is available for 538,800 euros. (All prices excluding 19 per cent VAT for Germany.)
