AISpeech Orphi Voice Assistant Powers Safer Smart Mobility
AISpeech, a leading conversational AI platform provider, presented its latest breakthroughs in the intelligent mobility sector. The company focused on end-to-end conversational AI and showcased the strength and innovation of China’s AI technology on a global stage.
AISpeech introduced its Orphi Voice Assistant, an intelligent in-vehicle interaction system built on its end-to-end voice and speech technology. Orphi gives automakers worldwide a flexible, customised in-vehicle dialogue system. It integrates voice processing, recognition, synthesis, language understanding, noise suppression and other functions. Key features include full-duplex, wake-free interaction, multi-intent understanding within one sentence, and “say what you see” functionality. These features improve driving safety and make human-machine interaction feel more natural. Orphi uses voiceprint recognition and multi-zone sound-source localisation to deliver personalised responses to passengers in different seats. This approach creates a seamless, intelligent in-car interaction experience.
Built for global deployment, Orphi Voice Assistant supports more than 40 languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French and German. It also includes deep optimisation for regional accents, linguistic habits and cultural nuances. This capability builds on AISpeech’s two championships at the ICASSP 2023 Grand Challenge, a signal-processing contest focused on multi-speaker and multilingual speech synthesis. The system also shows strong adaptability through region-specific tuning. It improves accent recognition in North America and adapts speech patterns for Europe, enabling seamless interaction across diverse linguistic environments.
AISpeech continues to co-develop in-car voice and speech interaction experiences with global partners. The company has collaborated with leading international brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Audi. It also works closely with leading Chinese automakers, including BYD, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Great Wall Motor, and IM Motors, to support their global expansion.
At AISpeech’s CES 2026 booth, visitors experienced near-human conversational interaction through a smart cockpit equipped with the multilingual voice system. International attendees praised its stable performance in noisy environments, accurate recognition of complex commands, and low-latency, high-accuracy responses. A representative from a European automaker noted, “AISpeech’s voice system delivers impressive performance in speech naturalness, adaptability to accents, and comprehension of less-common languages, demonstrating a solid foundation for serving the global market.”
