Alpine A390 UK Price, Range and Specs for Early 2026
Alpine will price the all-new Alpine A390 at £61,390 on the road in the UK. Alpine will open order books in early 2026. Alpine will start first customer deliveries of its electric sports fastback in the spring.
The A390 becomes the second model in Alpine’s fully electric Dream Garage, after the Car of the Year-winning A290. The A390 moves Alpine’s unmistakable DNA into a new segment. It delivers sports car agility and emotion. It also gives you the everyday versatility of a five-seat fastback.
Alpine will launch the Alpine A390 in three versions, each built around its new optimised electric architecture. The A390 GT produces 400PS and reaches 0–62mph in 4.8 seconds. The A390 GTS produces 470PS and up to 824Nm of torque, and it goes 0–62mph in 3.9 seconds. Alpine will also sell the A390 Premiere Edition as a high-spec celebration model based on the GT, with a limited run of 390 examples. Both the A390 GT and A390 Premiere Edition pair a 400PS output with 661Nm of torque and up to 345 miles of WLTP range (subject to homologation), and they top out at 124mph. The A390 GTS pairs 470PS with 824Nm, delivers up to 312 miles of WLTP range, and reaches 136mph.
Alpine fits every Alpine A390 with its unique Active Torque Vectoring system. Alpine makes this possible by placing two independent motors on the rear axle. Alpine uses this setup to control torque at each wheel precisely. The system gives the electric fastback exceptional agility, balance and responsiveness. The development team benchmarked the A390’s behaviour directly against the lighter Alpine A110, and prioritised feel over software.
Alpine equips the A390 with a high-performance 89kWh battery that delivers up to 345 miles of range on the WLTP cycle, subject to homologation. Alpine optimised charging for real-world use. The car supports DC charging of up to 190kW, and it can take a 15–80 per cent charge in around 25 minutes. Alpine fits an 11kW AC bidirectional charger as standard. Alpine offers a 22kW unit as an option, and it is standard on the Premiere Edition.
Inside, the Alpine A390 introduces a refined and immersive Alpine feel@one cockpit that focuses on driver engagement. Two high-definition screens lead the experience, with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12-inch central display. The displays integrate Alpine-specific graphics, Google-built-in services, an EV route planner, and over-the-air updates. Alpine raises the materials and craftsmanship throughout the cabin, with aluminium Devialet speaker grilles, microfibre headlining, and a choice of Alpine Sport or Sabelt® bucket seats, depending on trim. The A390 stays practical alongside its performance focus. It seats five and offers a 532-litre boot with an optional double floor.
At £61,390 on the road, the Alpine A390 GT starts the range. It rides on 20” CRISTAL diamond-cut alloy wheels with Michelin Sport EV tyres and black wheel centres featuring the Alpine logo.
