Alpine Marks 70 Years With Electric Debuts in Dieppe

Alpine enthusiasts will gather in Dieppe from 30 May to 1 June as the IDÉA Association hosts a landmark event to mark Alpine’s 70th anniversary in the birthplace of its founder, Jean Rédélé. Over three days, the brand will celebrate its heritage and future, unveiling new models and showcasing the innovation that defines French motorsport engineering.

Alpine will open a 900-square-metre hospitality area to the public, where it will reveal the A390, its first electric sport fastback, directly following its global debut. Built at the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé, the A390 signals a bold step into the electric era. Visitors will meet Alpine CEO Philippe Krief, Product Performance Vice President Sovany Ang, and Design Vice President Antony Villain, who will present the A390 on the afternoon of 31 May.

The A390 joins the A290, the hot hatch that premiered during the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024. Together, these two models form the first wave of Alpine’s all-electric ‘Dream Garage’, drawing global attention to the brand’s commitment to high-performance electric vehicles. Later that day, the A390 will parade through the streets of Dieppe alongside the Alpenglow Hy6, a hydrogen-powered rolling prototype featuring a V6 turbo engine first shown at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.

The event will also spotlight the refreshed A110 range launched in France in March 2025. This includes the A110 R 70, a limited edition of just 770 units created for the anniversary, and the new A110 GTS, which balances track-ready performance with everyday refinement. These models reflect Alpine’s mastery of lightweight sports cars and its dedication to driving pleasure.

On 30 May, past and present Alpine drivers will meet fans for autograph sessions, creating a unique link between generations of racing talent. On 1 June, 700 Alpine cars will form the largest parade at the former Dieppe circuit. Meanwhile, Formula One fans can enjoy live coverage of the Spanish Grand Prix broadcast from the Alpine hospitality zone.

The A-arrow symbol now bears the number 70, honouring Alpine’s journey from 1955 to 2025. Its design, using the French tricolour, reinforces the brand’s heritage while the red target at the wheel’s centre reflects Alpine’s forward-looking spirit and ambition for the decades to come.
