Rocketeer MXV6 Funding Boost Drives British Sports Car Growth

Rocketeer Cars has secured fresh investment that accelerates the development of its hand‑built Rocketeer MXV6 sports car range and extends the brand’s global reach. External backing confirms the firm’s momentum: it has delivered over thirty turnkey and RestoBuild vehicles and supplied over 150 self‑build kits. The new investors, keen drivers who own supercars and classics, share Rocketeer’s passion for an analogue yet technologically advanced British sports car.

Crafted in Hampshire, the Rocketeer MXV6 reimagines the Mazda MX‑5 for enthusiasts who crave involvement. It’s 3.0‑litre V6 produces 280 hp and a thrilling soundtrack while preserving the lightweight chassis balance that made the MX‑5 a benchmark. The conversion fits Mk1 (NA) and Mk2 (NB) models in EU and US specifications, delivering a pure, engaging drive absent from many modern supercars.

The capital injection funds two new RestoBuild projects and opens fresh markets. Mid‑2025 will see the launch of the Rocketeer Keiryō—Japanese for “Lightweight”—which targets 850 kg and 375 hp to match the Ferrari F40’s power‑to‑weight ratio. Orders are already open for this most extreme Rocketeer MXV6. The investment also completes the Mk3 (NC) programme: dyno tests have passed 300 hp, and deliveries begin in mid‑2025, tapping the abundant pool of NC donor cars.

Rocketeer already collaborates with build partners in Germany, the Netherlands and Australia; the funding now enables turnkey and RestoBuild deliveries in the crucial United States market, where interest continues to rise.

Drivers can join the Rocketeer community in three ways. The brand co‑curates bespoke RestoMod creations with unique colours and materials; it offers turnkey conversions in which factory technicians fit the signature V6; and supplies comprehensive self‑build kits for dedicated enthusiasts. Every finished vehicle carries official Rocketeer badging and registration, ensuring owners enjoy an authentic, lightweight British sports car experience.
