Bugatti Brouillard Dazzles at Wheels Mariënwaerdt Europe Debut

Bugatti unveils a showcase of speed, elegance and beauty as the Brouillard arrives in Europe at Wheels Mariënwaerdt in the Netherlands. The one-of-one hypercar captivated enthusiasts at its global debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and now it brings the same theatre to a premier Concours d'Elegance. As the first creation from Bugatti’s fully bespoke Programme Solitaire, the Brouillard celebrates the art of coachbuilding with a design that unites heritage, engineering excellence and creative expression.

Guests at the Mariënwaerdt Estate took pride in the Brouillard's presence among an extraordinary Bugatti display, featuring over 30 pristine examples from the Perridon Collection. The hypercar’s gleaming green finish and aerodynamic, sleek exterior introduced its unique design language with immediate impact, reinforcing Bugatti’s reputation for handcrafted luxury and cutting-edge performance.

Designers shaped the Brouillard as a modern interpretation of Bugatti’s timeless philosophy. The car pays tribute to its equine namesake, a thoroughbred of beauty, elegance and speed prized by Ettore Bugatti and central to his passion for equestrianism. Craftspeople installed a handcrafted sculpture of Brouillard in the gear selector and hand-stitched equine motifs into Parisian fabric on the door panels and rear seats, so heritage-inspired details define every surface.

Programme Solitaire builds on deep respect for tradition and personal taste, extending personalisation beyond Bugatti’s already highly bespoke Sur Mesure commissions. The programme draws inspiration from the automotive artisans who defined the golden era of early 20th-century coachbuilding, the master craftspeople who created legendary Bugatti icons such as the Type 57 and its siblings, including the Galibier, Stelvio, Ventoux, and Atalante.

Engineers infused the Brouillard with the innovation that powers Bugatti’s modern revival. The bespoke Coupé silhouette serves both form and function equally, enhancing stability, cooling, and airflow for high-speed precision. Beneath the sculpted body, Bugatti’s W16, 1,600 PS quad-turbocharged engine delivers the marque’s hallmark fusion of elegance and performance, confirming the Brouillard as a true hypercar masterpiece crafted for discerning collectors and enthusiasts alike.
