Bugatti and its trusted partner, Kingsway Apex, expand their established relationship in mainland China and Hong Kong with a meticulously designed showroom in the heart of Shanghai. The team crafted the space to meet Bugatti’s exacting global standards. More than a retail environment, it offers an immersive destination where a storied legacy meets forward-thinking innovation, delivering a distinctive client experience for collectors and enthusiasts of luxury cars in Shanghai.
Esteemed customers and select media attended an exquisite launch that featured the first public appearance of the Bugatti Divo in China. Bugatti presented one of just 40 examples ever built, underscoring the showroom’s mission to curate the rarest and most exceptional automobiles from the marque’s lineage. The opening builds on the latest chapter in China, where the Tourbillon made its debut earlier this year. During its stay in mainland China, the Bugatti Divo also visited Shanghai’s dynamic hub of innovation, the Lingang Special Area, in a moment that highlighted the exclusivity that defines Bugatti.
Senior Bugatti leadership elevated the occasion, including Mate Rimac, Chief Executive Officer of Bugatti Rimac, Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director at Bugatti, and Kostas Psarris, Regional Director of Bugatti Middle East and Asia. Following Bugatti’s vision, the Shanghai showroom’s design philosophy reaches beyond the automotive realm to create a holistic luxury environment. A special temporary display showcased the Bugatti Home collection by Luxury Living. At the heart of the space, the TYPE_3 sofa and ottoman in Voltaic Blue echo the brand’s design language with enveloping forms and signature ‘EB’ logo details in iconic Bugatti Blue.
The display also featured the TYPE_14 rug, inspired by the fluid lines of Bugatti’s hypercar lineup, alongside the TYPE_11 side table, whose silhouette incorporates the brand’s characteristic ‘C’ curve. The team selected each element to create an environment that resonates with Bugatti’s principles of timeless elegance and contemporary craft, complementing the Bugatti Shanghai showroom experience for clients in China.
