Porsche Considers Blume’s Early Exit; Leiters Tipped to Lead
The Executive Committee of the Supervisory Board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche Aktiengesellschaft has authorised the Chairman of the Supervisory Board to open discussions with Dr Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board, about a mutually agreed early termination of his appointment as a member of Porsche’s Executive Board.
The Supervisory Board will initiate negotiations with Dr Michael Leiters, former Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Automotive Limited, as a potential successor to lead Porsche’s Executive Board. Under this plan, Dr Blume would continue to serve as Chairman of the Executive Board of Volkswagen AG, providing continuity at the Volkswagen Group while Porsche manages its leadership succession.
