Cellid Unveils Next-Gen HJ1 AI Smart Glasses at CES

Cellid Inc., a developer of displays and spatial recognition engines for next-generation AR glasses, today announced that it will showcase its next-generation AI smart glasses, the HJ1 AI Smart Glasses, at the Cellid booth during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Partnerships with Foxconn Group companies Jorjin Technologies Inc. and GIS (General Interface Solution) make the exhibition possible.

Cellid and Foxconn jointly developed the "HJ1 AI Smart Glasses" under the Foxconn framework. Cellid contributes its ultra-thin, high-brightness waveguide technology for the AR glass lens. Jorjin Technologies Inc. delivers intelligent glass product design, system development, and manufacturing. GIS provides precision optical and display-related technologies. Through this collaboration, Cellid combines AR optical innovation with Foxconn Group's manufacturing and mass-production capabilities, accelerating the move from the "experimental stage" to the "real-world adoption phase" for AR glasses.

The HJ1 AI Smart Glasses deliver AI smart-glass performance in a lightweight form factor weighing approximately 46g. The design uses Cellid’s ultra-thin waveguide and delivers a high-brightness sRGB Micro-LED display with up to 2000 nits. The lenses provide a natural field of view with 85% high transmittance, and the built-in Eye Tracking Module supports more responsive augmented reality experiences. The glasses also support direct integration of prescription lenses.

The HJ1 AI Smart Glasses run AI processing through Cortex-A32 and M55 processors. The built-in camera, microphone, and speaker integrate audio, video, and AI for a broad range of use cases. The platform targets everyday use as well as business applications, including scenarios such as an AI assistant and AR navigation.

At the Cellid booth during CES 2026, Cellid will demonstrate the HJ1 AI Smart Glasses in action and let visitors experience practical applications. The exhibition runs from Tuesday, January 6 to Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, North Hall Smart Cities / IoT area, Booth #8200A. Cellid will also display the glasses disassembled into their individual components alongside the demo units.

Satoshi Shiraga, CEO, Cellid, commented: "We are thrilled to announce the HJ1 AI Smart Glasses at CES 2026. Through our partnership with the Foxconn Group, Cellid aims to integrate AR optical technology with mass-production capabilities to popularise smart glasses as the next-generation computing platform. We will continue collaborating with global partners further to advance the social implementation and adoption of AR glasses."
