Ferrari Dazzles Goodwood With Four Groundbreaking Debuts
Ferrari dominated the Goodwood Festival of Speed with its largest showcase yet, unveiling four new models and celebrating 75 Years of Formula 1 with a compelling heritage lineup. At the newly designed Ferrari display, crowds first encountered the Ferrari Amalfi: this sculptural 2+2 coupé reinvents the Grand Tourer concept. A front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 produces 640 cv, while retaining everyday ease. Ferrari complemented the latest HMI with tactile, analogue-inspired steering-wheel controls, including the iconic “Engine Start/Stop” button.
UK audiences then welcomed the Ferrari 296 Speciale. The lightweight, special-series evolution of the 296 GTB pairs a 120° twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor for 880 cv, while honed aerodynamics, trimmed weight and track-focused dynamics deliver the most extreme hybrid berlinetta yet.
Spectators next watched the limited-series Ferrari F80 complete its first worldwide dynamic run. Revealed at the 2024 Finali Mondiali, this supercar channels 1,200 cv from a hybrid V6 derived from the 499P Le Mans Hypercar, adds electric turbochargers and e-4WD, and generates 1,050 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.
The Ferrari 12Cilindri also made its UK dynamic debut. Its naturally aspirated 830 cv V12 propels a front-engined two-seater that blends elegance, versatility, and raw performance, advancing a distinguished lineage with fresh standards of comfort and design.
Ferrari enriched its static display with an F50 and a bespoke Purosangue from Ferrari Tailor Made, uniting heritage and personalisation. At the same time, guests examined the latest Ferrari 296 Challenge race car fresh from its UK season in the Ferrari Challenge UK Trofeo Pirelli series.
To honour 75 Years of Formula 1, Scuderia Ferrari powered the SF90 (2019) and SF21 (2021) up the Goodwood Hill, showcasing cutting-edge F1 technology. Devoted Ferraristi amplified the celebrations with historic icons such as the 312T, 640 and F2007, completing a vibrant tribute to the marque’s racing legacy.
