Ferrari F50 Legacy Tour 2025 Continues Through Historic Tuscany

Thirty years after its Geneva Motor Show unveiling on 9 March 1995, the Ferrari F50 retakes centre stage as the Ferrari F50 Legacy Tour 2025 launches today. Until 10 May 2025, proud owners will pilot this celebrated V12 supercar across Tuscany’s art‑laden landscapes, honing their machines on winding roads that frame breath‑catching vistas and media‑friendly photo opportunities.

Ferrari introduced the Legacy Tour programme in 2023 for the F40 and continued in 2024 with the GTO; the 2025 edition honours the F50’s 30th anniversary with equal flair. Participants depart from Saturnia before carving through the wild Maremma and the rolling hills around Siena, then crest the Tuscan‑Emilian Apennines en route to Maranello. At the factory, technicians showcase every F50 on the production floor, and drivers complete a celebratory parade around the Fiorano circuit to conclude the tour.

The event also debuts the new Pirelli P Zero Corsa System Collezione tyres, sized 245/35 R18 at the front and 335/30 R18 at the rear. Each sidewall proudly carries ‘Ferrari F50 Legacy Tour 2025’. Developed at Fiorano, these tyres retain the F50’s original handling while adding modern compounds for sharper grip and greater reliability.

In 1995, Ferrari built the F50 to distil Formula 1 technology for the road. Engineers mounted a naturally aspirated 4.7‑litre V12—lifted directly from Ferrari’s 1990 F1 car—in a longitudinal mid‑rear position within a carbon‑fibre monocoque. The powerplant served as a stressed chassis member, while advanced aerodynamics, push‑rod suspension and a removable targa roof delivered race‑car immediacy. Ferrari produced only 349 units—“one less than the demand from its intended market”—enhancing the model’s allure.

Pirelli’s latest P Zero Corsa System preserves that spirit. A directional front tread partners an asymmetric rear pattern to cut aquaplaning and boost stability at high speed and in corners, ensuring track‑ready balance on both heritage roads and modern circuits. With these bespoke tyres and an Italian backdrop steeped in automotive folklore, the Ferrari F50 Legacy Tour 2025 renews a legend for a new chapter of V12‑powered passion.
