Hyundai ELANTRA N TCR Debuts in Gran Turismo 7
Hyundai Motor Company has announced the debut of the Hyundai ELANTRA N TCR in the globally renowned racing simulation game, Gran Turismo 7. Hyundai revealed the news during the Gran Turismo World Series 2025 World Final at Fukuoka International Congress Center, marking 10 years of collaboration between Hyundai Motor and Polyphony Digital, the studio behind the Gran Turismo series.
Gran Turismo 7 will add the ELANTRA N TCR in the January 2026 update under the name ‘ELANTRA N TC’. This milestone matches the 10th anniversary of the Hyundai N brand, which first drew global attention with the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept car unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The January 2026 update puts the ELANTRA N TCR at centre stage as one of the most successful touring cars in modern motorsport. The model has delivered five consecutive class wins at the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race (2021–2025) and secured three straight victories in the FIA TCR World Tour Drivers’ Championship (2022–2024), reinforcing its reputation as a proven front-runner.
The same update also adds an exclusive Hyundai N-themed menu at GT Café and expands the Hyundai Museum at Brand Central. These in-game features let players explore the history, engineering and innovation that shape Hyundai’s performance brand while they race Hyundai N models in Gran Turismo 7.
Hyundai Motor and Polyphony Digital presented the ELANTRA N TCR during the Gran Turismo World Series World Final Fukuoka at the Fukuoka International Congress Center in Japan, held on 20–21 December 2025. Joon Park and Kazunori Yamauchi, President of Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo Series Producer, led the presentation on 21 December 2025 from 14:00 to 15:00, ahead of the Nations Cup. Together, they showcased the touring car with visuals that captured a decade of partnership and traced Hyundai N’s rise from concept origins to motorsport success and deeper integration into interactive racing experiences.
Hyundai Motor began its partnership with Polyphony Digital in 2015 when it launched the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, a futuristic hydrogen-powered hypercar built to express the brand’s high-performance ambitions. Since then, Hyundai N has expanded its footprint in Gran Turismo, giving players the chance to drive performance cars such as IONIQ 5 N and ELANTRA N in a virtual motorsport environment.
By bringing the ELANTRA N TCR to Gran Turismo 7, Hyundai Motor strengthens its presence in e-Motorsport and builds closer links between real-world racing and digital competition.
