Hyundai Elantra N TCR Driver Lineup for 2026 IMPC

Hyundai Motor America today revealed its driver lineup for the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season as the brand starts its push for an unprecedented seventh consecutive Manufacturers’ Championship. Hyundai follows a dominant 2025 campaign and continues its championship-winning partnership with Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) and Rockwell Autosport Development customer racing team. The teams will field a formidable five-car fleet of Elantra N TCRs.

“We’re adding a third driver to our cars for the Rolex 24 at Daytona—a first for us,” said Bryan Herta, owner of Bryan Herta Autosport. “This additional spot recognises Hyundai drivers who normally compete outside of IMSA and have delivered outstanding results. For the rest of the season, eight returning drivers across our four entries give us the right combination to defend Hyundai's Manufacturer, Team, and Driver Championships. We expect 2026 to be a strong year for competition, with familiar teams and manufacturers, as well as some new ones. We’re excited to get started at Daytona with new drivers Andre Castro, Josh Buchan, and Jon Miller.”

BHA will run four Elantra N TCR entries in the 2026 IMPC season. The No. 18 features Lance Bergstein and Harry Gottsacker for the whole season, with Jon Miller joining them at Daytona. The No. 33 pairs Mason Filippi and Bryson Morris for the entire season, with Josh Buchan joining for Daytona. The No. 76 fields Preston Brown and Denis Dupont for the whole season. The No. 98 features Mark Wilkins and Maddie Aust for the entire season, with Andre Castro joining for Daytona.

Rockwell Autosport Development will field the No. 15 Elantra N TCR with Daniel Hanley and Doug Oakley for the whole season. Eric Rockwell will join the pair for Daytona.

Hyundai’s 2026 racing campaign brings together a potent mix of experienced drivers and emerging talent, strengthening the manufacturer’s edge in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Harry Gottsacker, Mason Filippi, Bryson Morris and Mark Wilkins return as key anchors and bring deep IMPC experience across the roster. Wilkins continues an exceptional run, having won races in every season he has competed with BHA.

Maddie Aust returns for her second season with BHA and adds continuity to the No. 98 crew. Denis Dupont joins Preston Brown in the No. 76 and adds proven pace to the pairing. Andre Castro joins the No. 98 team for Daytona after a successful 2025 season in the Hyundai N Trophy Cup, a championship within the SRO Touring Car America series. Castro also took part in a programme test alongside selected fellow Trophy Cup drivers, piloting the Elantra N TCR with BHA.

Josh Buchan strengthens the Daytona lineup and adds an international pedigree to the effort. Buchan is a leading touring car and GT driver from Australia and arrives in the United States after a standout 2025 season that included a TCR World Tour event win at the Macau Grand Prix. Jon Miller also returns to the BHA stable for the season opener and joins Lance Bergstein in the No. 18 after a successful four-race partnership to close 2025.

Rockwell Autosport Development will continue its collaboration with BHA and will campaign the Elantra N TCR throughout 2026. The team will run the No. 15 with Daniel Hanley and Doug Oakley for the whole season, with Eric Rockwell joining for the four-hour endurance event at Daytona. The programme expands Hyundai’s presence on the IMPC grid and adds depth to the Elantra N TCR effort.

The 2026 Elantra N TCR cars will continue to run a dynamic livery that features the iconic Performance Blue and signature N logo design elements that define Hyundai N. Hyundai brings a lineup that blends veteran know-how with fresh hunger as the season opens at Daytona International Speedway. Hyundai intends to set the pace in the TCR class from the first green flag.

The season begins with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 on Jan. 16-18, followed by the BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona on Jan. 23.

Hyundai Racing continues the Hyundai Hope on Wheels campaign for a third straight season. Hyundai Hope on Wheels will donate $100 for every lap led by a Hyundai vehicle to a specific local hospital at every race in the 2026 season. Hyundai has raised nearly $80,000 through this on-track performance initiative in 2024 and 2025 combined. These Hyundai Hope on Wheels funds support pediatric cancer research and Hyundai’s commitment to helping find a cure. In 2026, the No. 33 will sport a dedicated Hyundai Hope on Wheels livery. Hyundai Hope on Wheels will also donate an additional $5,000 when the No. 33 lands on the podium and $10,000 if the No. 33 wins.
