Lamborghini Day UK: Temerario Drives at Millbrook Proving Ground

Lamborghini Day UK on Saturday 27 September unfolded at Millbrook Proving Ground, where more than 300 guests arrived in their cars to immerse themselves in the world of Lamborghini. Hosting the third UK edition, the venue let owners test drive the Lamborghini Temerario on Bedfordshire’s famous tracks while the team transformed the vast Concept Centre into an experiential wonderland. Past, present and future Lamborghini models joined executives and brand partners, all wrapped in warm Italian hospitality.

“This UK event, like other such Lamborghini Days created around the world, is a remarkable opportunity to bring together so many facets of our brand, and for the Lamborghini team and our owners to share in the passion our marque evokes in one of our top markets worldwide,” said Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. “This year we recognise the twentieth anniversary of our Centro Stile design department, where our in-house designers are responsible for all current models we see here today, as well as the design manifesto for the future that is Lamborghini Fenomeno, presented for the first time in the UK. We also celebrate heritage with our Polo Storico historic department, which marks ten years since its establishment.”

Owners arrived at Millbrook in super sports cars and Super SUVs, parking to create a dazzling display before booking test drives in the new Temerario and enjoying the exclusive Lavazza espresso, an Automobili Lamborghini blend, served from bars around the venue. Lavazza’s expert coffee makers created this dark roast with aromatic notes of spices and wood, reflecting shared values of passion, quality, and heritage.

Guests explored Lamborghini design DNA in the Centro Stile area, where the design team sketched for visitors and demonstrated how iconic models come to life. Centre stage stood the Lamborghini Fenomeno, created for Centro Stile’s 20th anniversary and making its UK debut at Lamborghini Day UK. Unveiled in August at the USA’s Monterrey Car Week, just 29 of the few-off Fenomeno, the most powerful V12 ever, will be built for owners worldwide, and customers have already secured all 1,080 CV hybrid masterpieces. A display of rare limited editions and one-offs underlined the tradition, including the Sesto Elemento, Centenario, Sián, and Countach LPI 800-4.

Lamborghini Polo Storico marked its tenth anniversary with the restoration and certification of a Countach LP 400, fully restored in Sant’Agata Bolognese in 2021 for its UK owner. The Polo Storico team utilised specialist expertise to repair the car to its original configuration and reconstruct its history with complete authenticity. This Countach Periscopio, finished in Giallo Fly over Tabacco leather, left the production line on 16 July 1976 and reached UK dealer Berlinetta Italia on 28 July. During the event, the team explained how restoration, certification and the company archive support classic Lamborghini models and their owners, protecting the brand’s heritage and values.

An extensive Ad Personam lounge invited clients to explore virtually limitless colour and trim options for a new Lamborghini, guided by experts through myriad combinations of hues and materials. At the heart of the boutique area, a Temerario Alleggerita in shiny Verde Mercurius with red highlights showcased extensive carbon fibre both outside and in, complemented by matte black finishes on the tailpipes and bumpers. For owners seeking further personalisation, Lamborghini Accessori Originali displayed factory accessories, including Akrapovič titanium exhausts for the Urus SE.

Guests also took first test drives in the new Lamborghini Temerario. Its all-new twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine delivers 920 CV, with deliveries starting in 2026. After experiencing the car’s power and dynamics on the hill route and mile straight at Millbrook, where drivers could safely explore its 10,000 rpm and 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, attendees explored the complete model lineup. Displays featured the V12 Revuelto, the first High-Performance Electrified Vehicle, the HPEV Temerario, and the versatile Urus SE Super SUV, together forming a thoroughly hybridised super sports range.

Beyond cars, guests engaged with partner brands that collaborate with Automobili Lamborghini. Ducati displayed a Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini and a Panigale V4 Tricolore, reflecting co-designed special editions. Bridgestone, the official technical partner and exclusive tyre partner for the new Lamborghini Temerario, showcased the longevity of custom-engineered Potenza Race tyres, explicitly created for the Temerario. Sonus faber set up a studio to demonstrate the Temerario in-car sound system. At the same time, the LEGO Group brought LEGO Technic Lamborghini Revuelto Super Sports Car sets for hands-on fun. Babolat presented the BL002 padel rackets, created in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini, and Vesaro’s driving simulators allowed guests to battle in a simulated race experience.

Technics elevated the atmosphere with a DJ performing throughout the day on the SL-1200M7B turntable, designed in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini. At the same time, Culti Milano fragrances infused the venue with the signature Lamborghini scent. Every guest received a reusable 24Bottles Climabottle, with an etch artist on hand to personalise each gift.

Following previous editions at Silverstone Circuit and Farnborough Airfield, this third UK event welcomed invited owners and media from across the nation. It offered a rare chance to connect with Lamborghini personnel from Sant’Agata Bolognese, alongside management, dealers and the passionate owner community. Mirroring celebrations in key markets such as Germany, Japan, and China, Lamborghini Day UK underscored the brand’s strength through its legacy, Italian design, and engineering, as well as a thoroughly hybridised product range, while deepening its presence and loyalty among customers worldwide.
