Leawat Unveils 46-Series Cylindrical Batteries at CES 2026
The global tech industry turned its gaze to Las Vegas as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026) kicked off. This prestigious event fused cutting-edge innovation with future-focused vision. It drew over 140,000 professional attendees from around the world and set a high-stakes stage for pioneers.
In the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Yantai Leawat-Power Technologies Co., Ltd. arrived as an ambitious challenger from China and made an immediate impact. The company showcased its self-developed 46-series cylindrical batteries and full-scenario battery and energy storage solutions. It secured multiple cooperation agreements across the United States, Canada, Germany, and Japan, and highlighted the technological strength and global competitiveness of "Made in China."
Leawat kept its stand busy throughout the show. Its flagship tablet, the 46 series with large cylindrical batteries, led the conversation. The products deliver the "Four Highs and One Fast" advantage, high energy density, high rate capability, long cycle life, high safety, and ultra-fast charging. Leawat tackled the industry challenge of balancing performance targets without sacrificing real-world usability.
Leawat tailored its offer to the core demands of North America’s power and energy storage markets. In the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, its battery cells support 10C ultra-fast charging. This approach aligns with the growing shift to 800V high-voltage platforms and helps reduce consumers’ charging anxiety. In the fast-growing electric two-wheeler and AGV logistics equipment markets, Leawat’s batteries boost range and shorten charging time, making them well-suited for high-frequency use. In the residential energy storage segment, Leawat’s systems support grid charging and solar integration. Households can switch between energy sources and optimise electricity costs. Leawat also positions its portable energy storage products as practical partners for outdoor lifestyles, featuring large capacity, rapid recharging, and a lightweight design.
Leawat built this international momentum on deep technical capability. It drives progress through material innovation, tablet-like structural design and high-speed intelligent production lines. It also integrates R&D with manufacturing to strengthen quality and scalability. Leawat is steadily expanding production capacity as it works to fulfil orders from global clients.
"This is not just a commercial achievement—it's a chance to showcase China's battery technology innovation to the world," noted Feng Zihao, Deputy General Manager of Leawat. Leawat uses CES as a bridge to bring safe, efficient power and energy storage solutions to global customers. It also pursues win-win partnerships with collaborators worldwide.
