Maserati MCPURA Driving Experience: Power, Elegance, Colour

Maserati has wrapped the exclusive Driving Experience for the new Maserati MCPURA, a celebration of energy and performance by the Trident. From 6 to 18 October, the route threaded through Versilia’s highlights, including sophisticated Forte dei Marmi, the artistic village of Pietrasanta, and the majestic Carrara Marble Quarries, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests experienced the Maserati supercar in stunning Italian settings that underscored its character.

In this setting, the Trident’s new supercar showcased a seamless blend of power and elegance, with dynamic handling and the unmistakable note of the iconic 630 hp Nettuno V6 engine. The warm early October light amplified exclusive paint shades and welcomed participants into the Maserati Fuoriserie Program, where craftsmanship defines authentic Italian luxury and bespoke personalisation.

As the natural evolution of the Halo Car MC20, the MCPURA sets a new benchmark for super sports cars, elevating its predecessor in performance and exclusivity. Available as a coupé or convertible, it stands out with four defining features: a carbon fibre monocoque, the 630 hp Nettuno V6 with patented pre-chamber technology, distinctive butterfly doors, and, on the Cielo version, a retractable electrochromic glass roof. The carbon fibre monocoque pairs rigidity with lightness to keep overall weight under 1,500 kg. With 630 hp, the MCPURA establishes a class-leading weight-to-power ratio of 2.33 kg/hp, delivering uncompromising performance, refined elegance, and masterful craftsmanship that embody the actual values of the Trident.

Colour shaped the Driving Experience and highlighted Maserati’s approach to customisation. The MCPURA colour palette evokes Italian heritage and the brand’s legacy, with shades explicitly created for this supercar. Standout introductions include the launch colour AI Aqua Rainbow, a blue that shifts in sunlight to reveal a rainbow effect, the vivid Devil Orange that fuses energy with boldness, and Night Interaction, a suite of sophisticated, luxurious tones that confirms MCPURA as the Trident’s new flagship. The Maserati Fuoriserie Program expands the range further with over thirty bodywork shades, including solid, metallic, tri-coat, quad-coat, and matte finishes, enabling each car to become truly bespoke.

Santo Ficili, Maserati COO, stated: “With this Driving Experience, we wanted to offer our guests the opportunity to step into the very heart of Maserati by living firsthand the energy, elegance, and passion that shape each of our creations. MCPURA was born from this same spirit: a perfect balance between engineering precision and artisanal ability. This project tells the story of our present and our future, while celebrating our deep connection with Modena, the city where, for nearly ninety years, we’ve nurtured our craftsmanship, built the Nettuno engine, and created the most exclusive personalisation options in our Officine Fuoriserie. In Versilia, we wanted to evoke all of this, transforming the drive into a sensory experience that expresses the purest essence of Maserati in every single detail”.
