Maserati Stars at FuoriConcorso With GT2 Stradale & MCXtrema
From 24 to 25 May, Maserati lights up Lake Como by bringing the road-ready GT2 Stradale and the track-only MCXtrema to FuoriConcorso. This exclusive showcase fills the historic grounds of Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota with automotive artistry. The brand steps into this celebrated event—running since 2019 and adored by collectors, historians and design aficionados—for the first time, confident that its latest creations match the surroundings’ refined allure.
This year’s theme, “Velocissimo – Italian Race Cars”, salutes the icons that forged motorsport legend, and Maserati answers that call with two machines that fuse elegance and unbridled speed. The GT2 Stradale, shown in the bespoke “Bianco Audace” paint curated by Officine Fuoriserie, translates track DNA into a road-legal package. Its 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 unleashes 640 CV, propelling the car from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and beyond 320 km/h, while a 60-kilogram weight saving over the MC20 sharpens agility for both daily drives and spirited laps.
Beside it, the limited-run MCXtrema, cloaked in “Blu Extrema”, channels raw competition spirit for discerning collectors and gentleman drivers. Maserati builds only 62 examples, each driven by a twin-turbo Nettuno V6 tuned to a fierce 740 CV. This purpose-built racer is not homologated for public roads but combines mechanical precision, aerodynamic refinement and sculptural beauty to deliver an uncompromised circuit experience.
By joining FuoriConcorso 2025, Maserati celebrates its vision of modern luxury and performance, proving that the Trident continues to marry innovative engineering with timeless Italian style. Two cars, two personalities, one unmistakable emblem—art, passion and roaring engines meet in perfect harmony on Lake Como.
