Ferrari Shines at 2025 FIA Awards and Macau Honours
Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosted the 2025 FIA Awards on Friday, 12 December. The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile honoured Ferrari and Prancing Horse drivers for their season victories in the FIA WEC and the FIA GT World Cup in Macau.
Ferrari claimed the World Manufacturers’ Championship trophy in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The factory Ferrari AF Corse team secured the title through the consistent form of the number 50 and 51 499P entries across all eight rounds. Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti, collected the award.
The season featured standout results from both crews. Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen drove the number 50 car, while Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi shared the number 51. Together, they delivered three wins, three pole positions and five further podium finishes.
Pier Guidi, Calado and Giovinazzi also stepped on stage to accept the World Drivers’ Championship title. The number 51 499P crew sealed the crown with wins at Imola in Italy and Spa in Belgium. They also took pole positions at Lusail in Qatar and in Italy, then scored points in six of the eight World Championship races, including third place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Ferrari also added two more honours through its FIA GT World Cup success at Macau’s Guia Circuit in November. Ferdinando Cannizzo, Head of Endurance Race Cars, accepted the Manufacturers’ title. Antonio Fuoco claimed the Drivers’ trophy after he drove the 296 GT3 to victory on the Asian street circuit and secured Ferrari’s first win in the competition.
Yifei Ye, Robert Kubica, and Phil Hanson also featured prominently after winning the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. They took second in the Drivers' World Championship standings with the number 83 499P, which AF Corse entered, and finished ahead of the Fuoco-Molina-Nielsen crew.
Piero Ferrari, Vice President of the company founded in Maranello in 1947, received the FIA President's Innovation Award during the event.
