Halcyon Hires Mclaren, Rolls-Royce Vets to Lead 800-V EV Growth
Halcyon has appointed former McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt and ex-Rolls-Royce directors Graham Biggs and Graham Lenden to its advisory board to help the founding team accelerate global growth. The trio will guide Halcyon’s expansion and, through its new technology arm Evice Technologies, fast-track commercialisation of its proprietary 800-V electric architecture for luxury electric cars in multiple markets.
After unveiling the Halcyon Remastered Rolls-Royce Corniche earlier this year, the company sold every 2026 build slot and is now raising capital through Evice Technologies to boost production capacity and deliver its advanced electric powertrain to the wider automotive, marine, and defence sectors.
Matthew Pearson, CEO of Halcyon & Evice Technologies, commented: "Mike Flewitt, Graham Biggs, and Graham Lenden join us at the perfect time as we expand to meet Halcyon and Evice Technologies' demand, serving clients around the world. Their knowledge and expertise are powerful assets, and their confidence in our vision is a great endorsement of the team's incredible work to date. Working together has been an absolute pleasure, and we're only just getting started!”
Mike Flewitt, who tripled McLaren Automotive’s annual production between 2012 and 2021 while launching the P1, Speedtail and Super Series models, now shares four decades of industry insight with Halcyon.
Mike Flewitt, Advisor at Halcyon & Evice Technologies, said: “As a former Rolls-Royce and Bentley director, I was deeply impressed by the quality and execution of Halcyon’s stunning remastered Rolls-Royces and Bentleys, with impressive enhancements to the classic attributes across the entire car. While getting to know Matthew, Charlie, and Will better, I have grown a deep respect for the technology they've developed with Evice Technologies, and how Halcyon is leveraging it to produce the most incredible cars. I look forward to sharing my experience in the industry over the last forty years with this amazing team.”
Graham Biggs brings strategic communications expertise from relaunching Rolls-Royce Motor Cars globally and leading BMW Group UK communications for 16 years.
Graham Biggs, Advisor at Halcyon & Evice Technologies, commented: “It’s a pleasure to work with such energetic founders, and their creative and skilful team of engineers and designers. The quality of their work is exceptional, and their drive to breathe new life into these pivotal classic cars is inspiring. I am delighted to be able to share my experience with them, particularly from my years at Rolls-Royce, which were some of the happiest in my working life.”
Graham Lenden, former Global CMO of Rolls-Royce, quadrupled annual sales by launching the Ghost. He also held senior posts at Bentley Motors and Aston Martin. He now shapes Evice Technologies’ brand and business strategy as it scales its modular high-voltage EV systems.
Graham Lenden, Advisor at Halcyon & Evice Technologies, added: “Matthew, Charlie and Will have selected the ideal iconic brands to showcase their high voltage electric technology. Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars must always be the epitome of elegance and refinement, propelled by an instantaneous tidal wave of torque, delivered without stress, in silence. Electric propulsion is the perfect fit. I hugely enjoy bringing nearly 40 years of global commercial C-Suite experience in ‘blue chip’ supercars and a previous electric drivetrain start-up to help drive Evice Technologies' proprietary, modular technology into multiple product categories.”
By uniting proven leadership in production, communications and commercial strategy, Halcyon and Evice Technologies aim to build the world’s finest zero-emission luxury cars and unlock next-generation electrification for manufacturers pursuing a cleaner future.
