Rimac Nevera R Electrifies Monaco Grand Prix Weekend

Rimac injects fresh glamour into the Monaco Grand Prix weekend as the Rimac Nevera R electric hypercar greets guests beside the famous Fairmont Hotel Monaco. The handling-focused evolution of the award-winning Nevera joins customers and Bugatti Rimac Chief Executive Officer Mate Rimac in the Principality, where superyachts and celebrities overlook Formula 1’s most storied street circuit.

The Nevera and the sharpened Nevera R deliver acceleration that rivals modern Formula 1 machinery, surging from 0–60 mph in 1.74 seconds, blasting to 300 km/h in 8.66 seconds and pushing on to a 412 km/h peak. Engineers combine a 108 kWh battery with four independent electric motors that release 2,107 horsepower, while the upgraded All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system meters that force with pinpoint accuracy through Michelin Cup 2 tyres.

Designers crafted a fixed rear wing and larger diffuser that lift downforce by 15 per cent and raise aerodynamic efficiency by 10 per cent, letting the Nevera R carve Monaco’s hairpins without sacrificing everyday refinement. “Monaco Grand Prix weekend is an iconic motorsport event; the world’s most advanced racing cars at a circuit that has remained mostly unchanged since 1950, overlooked by megayachts and superstars worldwide. This is where the world's most discerning automotive enthusiasts gather, and we're here to present them with what we believe is the most advanced hypercar ever created. The Nevera R embodies everything that makes Monaco special; uncompromising performance, stunning design, and absolute exclusivity,” says Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO of Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology.

Spectators can admire this ultra-exclusive all-electric hypercar throughout the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, as the Nevera R remains on display at the Fairmont Hotel, offering a rare opportunity to experience Rimac’s most focused creation amid motorsport’s most glamorous backdrop.
