Subaru Electrifies 2025 Forest Rally Stage at Goodwood

Subaru UK & Ireland backs the iconic Forest Rally Stage at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, running from 10–13 July at Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. The winding track, carved through Goodwood’s ancient woodland, remains one of the festival’s most electrifying attractions.

With Subaru as title sponsor, spectators stand mere metres from historic and modern rally machines, roam the open paddock, meet legendary drivers and inspect world-class cars up close. Subaru’s all-electric, all-wheel-drive Solterra patrols the Forest Rally Stage as the official course vehicle, keeping the route safe before every competitive run.

Since its 2005 debut, the stage has thrilled fans of every generation and remains a must-see highlight of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025.

“At Subaru, rallying forms part of our heritage,” said Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director of Subaru UK. “Our backing for the Forest Rally Stage this year gives fans an intimate, thrilling experience that captures our spirit of adventure and performance. We welcome the chance to champion a stage where motorsport heritage meets innovation.”

The 2025 festival honours rally legend Colin McRae, the first British driver to secure the World Rally Championship in 1995. Goodwood marks the 30th anniversary of his triumph with a showcase of the cars he drove, headlined by the Subaru Impreza 555 that carried him to the title through two rally wins and three podiums. Subaru Motorsports USA also returns, with Scott Speed steering WRX: Project Midnight up the famous hill climb and Travis Pastrana piloting the class-leading WRX ARA25 on the Forest Rally Stage. Together, they promise high-octane drama and reinforce Subaru’s enduring bond with the world of rally sport.
