Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition: 10 Bespoke Hypercars
Rimac has revealed the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, a strictly limited run of just ten bespoke electric hypercars. Rimac announced the programme privately to selected clients earlier this year and allocated every car to an owner within a week. Each Founder’s Edition purchase opens the door to the Founder’s Club, an insider route into Bugatti Rimac and the wider Rimac Group that only ten people worldwide can access.
Owners begin with a highly personal configuration session at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb, where Mate Rimac meets them, along with Design Director Frank Heyl and the design team. The team uses V-REvisualisationon software to refine colours, materials and finishes in real time, so customers shape every detail with precision rather than settling for a standard specification.
Throughout ownership, Founder’s Club members receive priority invitations to product previews, a company card that grants direct access to Bugatti Rimac HQ, and invitations to performance showcases and record-breaking runs. They also join strategy discussions with Mate and the team and can influence research and development that will shape future Rimac hypercars. The group also receives additional benefits and invitations as part of membership, with the Founders keeping the exact details private.
Each Nevera R Founder’s Edition showcases a striking baseline look built around a two-tone design, with a dramatic colour split running the length of the car. "Instead of creating some shouty livery, we use the natural geometry of the car as the colour to emphasise trying to achieve here," says Lead Exterior Designer Clark Yutong Wu. The split visually lowers the car and gives it an aggressive, forward-tilting stance while creating a timeless, immediately recognisable
An ultra-thin central stripe runs along the roof and challenges convention, with its thinnest point measuring just two millimetres. The stripe incorporates Rimac’s signature cravat motif and subtle circuit-board graphics. Inside, the door panels carry bespoke embroidery that marks three pivotal dates in Rimac history: the garage era, the launch of Concept_One, and the record-breaking period with Nevera and the Campus. Rimac also fits an asymmetrical seat layout that echoes Mate Rimac’s own Nevera configuration.
Rimac gives customers wide creative freedom through hand-stitched interiors, hand-painted details and expertly crafted paint liveries. The team has already sourced specific purple leather for one cabin and precisely matched an indigo blue from another car in a customer’s collection. Each of the ten Founder’s Edition cars carries the owner’s personal hallmarks and story.
Rimac’s professional testing team provides specialist driver training for every owner, drawing on tens of thousands of miles driven in the Nevera and Nevera R. After months of hand-assembling each car and applying bespoke touches, Mate Rimac personally delivers each of the ten examples and supports the driver training.
Rimac designed the Nevera R as an evolution of the pioneering Nevera and aimed to shift the electric hypercar’s character from Hyper GT to Hyper Sportscar. The model has won a Red Dot Award for Product Design and delivers 2,107 hp via four individual motors, each controlled by Rimac’s advanced torque-vectoring system. It achieves a record 0–60 mph time of 1.66 seconds and a top speed of 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph). In 2025 alone, it set 24 verified world records in performance.
