Rolls-Royce Unveils Bespoke Wildlife Triptych for London Craft Week
Rolls-Royce honours the eleventh London Craft Week by unveiling a bespoke triptych that celebrates Britain’s vibrant wildlife in day, evening and night scenes. Artisans at the marque’s Goodwood home conceived and crafted the piece, which will grace the window of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, Berkeley Street, Mayfair, from 12 to 18 May 2025.
“Uncompromising craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail have always defined Rolls-Royce. At the very heart of our brand lies a deep commitment to creativity and artisanal excellence. As a name synonymous with perfection, Rolls-Royce holds London Craft Week – a celebration of the finest craftsmanship – as a key moment in our annual calendar. For this year’s event, I am delighted to announce that our highly talented artisans and designers from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood have created a stunning Bespoke artwork, inspired by the rich and fascinating variety of wildlife in the United Kingdom. This exquisite display of creativity and craftsmanship will be on display at our flagship showroom, in the heart of Mayfair, for the duration of the event in May.”

The enchanting woodland tableau follows a kingfisher through shifting light: first it hovers above a tranquil lake, then it darts across dusky reeds, and finally it perches beneath moonlit boughs. Exterior Surface Centre painters devoted more than 100 hours to the lakeside panel, using freehand brushwork to render two swans and shimmering water. They cut and airbrushed aluminium reeds in Iced Orange Metallic and St Tropez, sealing them with a crystal-clear coat that mirrors morning dew.
Interior Trim specialists invested over 400 hours to evoke the twilight effect. They painted daisies onto Scivaro Grey leather and pioneered a self-supporting three-dimensional embroidery that raises hardier flora from the surface. Hand-painted leather portrays a hare in poised mid-leap and a squirrel with a tufted, voluminous tail, each stroke capturing movement and texture.
When night falls, the Interior Surface Centre’s veneer experts reveal a fox padding into the gloom. They spent upward of 500 hours cutting, pressing and tessellating timber, then trialled painted veneers for the first time to achieve the animal’s russet coat while allowing the natural grain to glow through.
This meticulously crafted triptych underscores Rolls-Royce craftsmanship and bespoke artistry, inviting visitors to witness British wildlife reimagined through the marque’s peerless creative lens during London Craft Week.
