Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT Debuts at Monaco Yacht Show
Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group unveiled the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT with a worldwide premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show, extending a partnership that began in 2020 with the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a tribute to the year the House of Sant’Agata was founded and a favourite among enthusiasts. The new luxury yacht, measuring approximately 30 metres, brings together two icons of Made in Italy excellence, delivering a driver-centred experience that mirrors the feel of a Lamborghini super sports car, aligning marine engineering with unmistakable automotive design.
The project unites the technical and engineering prowess of The Italian Sea Group with Lamborghini’s bold aesthetics and innovation to create a supercar-inspired yacht that elevates nautical luxury. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, comments: “With the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT, we are taking Lamborghini’s DNA to sea: performance, design, and innovation come together in a motoryacht that redefines the concept of nautical luxury. It is not only a yacht, but an affirmation of Italian excellence. The Italian Sea Group and Automobili Lamborghini share an exclusive clientele that is passionate about beauty, technology, and extreme performance. It is exactly this shared vision that makes our collaboration so natural and so significant.”
Design defines the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT from first glance. The exterior lines draw inspiration from the new few-off Fenomeno1, produced in a limited edition of just 29 cars and presented to the world in August at Monterey Car Week. The launch livery uses Giallo Crius, while the front and rear lights echo those of the Sant’Agata Bolognese model. Every surface pursues maximum functionality with pure, iconic lines that express the Lamborghini brand in a marine context, reinforcing the yacht’s presence among performance yachts and superyachts.
At the helm, owners encounter cues from Sant’Agata Bolognese, particularly the TTemerario 2 Lamborghini’s “fuoriclasse” hybrid V8 HPEV. The layout and tactile interfaces aim to give the same sensation as driving a Lamborghini, so piloting the 101FT feels immediate, precise and engaging. Inside, the colour palettes, stitching and forms reflect the House of Sant’Agata’s language. Hexagons, clean lines and the signature Y-shape appear throughout. The yacht accommodates up to nine guests and features three crew cabins, providing generous space and comfort for extended passages without compromising performance.
Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini, remarked: “With the new Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT motoryacht, we aimed to create a product that embodies the main design characteristics of our super sports cars. All the details, from the exterior to the colour and interior areas, recall and are inspired by Lamborghini’s DNA. Our Centro Stile, in operation for twenty years at Lamborghini’s historical headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, worked with care to ensure that every element was studied in meticulous detail and reflected the brand’s unmistakable design.”
Underway, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT focuses on outright performance and reliability. Three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines pair with three surface propellers to reach a top speed of 45 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots. A total output of 7,600 horsepower, supported by two 35 kW generators, underpins efficient operation across a wide range of conditions, making this Lamborghini yacht a compelling choice for owners seeking speed, style and Italian craftsmanship.
The partners presented a scale version during an exclusive press conference at the Monaco Yacht Show, the most prestigious stage in the international yachting calendar. The definitive model will set sail at the end of 2027, marking the next chapter in the collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group and strengthening Italy’s leadership in high-performance yacht design.
