Titanium Akrapovič Exhaust Ignites Bentley Continental GT Thrill
Bentley engineers have teamed with exhaust maestros Akrapovič to craft a titanium sports system for the latest Bentley Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible and Flying Spur. Crafted from titanium and advanced super-alloys, the exhaust reduces weight by up to 10 kg while producing a visceral soundtrack reminiscent of the unit in the Bentayga Speed.
Select SPORT mode and valves in each rear silencer open, unleashing a full-bodied rasp under hard acceleration and characterful burbles on overrun. As revs climb, the note evolves from a commanding V8 roar to a smooth, high-frequency surge, giving the driver precise acoustic feedback and an even stronger connection to the car’s performance.
Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry casts complex components to maximise strength, optimise gas flow and withstand intense heat. Bentley then sandblasts and coats the matte titanium exterior for a uniform finish, ensuring lasting durability and superior scratch resistance. Meanwhile, distinctive quad tailpipes carry both Bentley and Akrapovič branding.
Owners of the Continental GT, GT Convertible and Flying Spur—whether powered by the High Performance Hybrid or the Speed model’s Ultra Performance Hybrid—can specify the Titanium Akrapovič Exhaust at build or retrofit it to any fourth-generation example via the Bentley retailer network, gaining weight reduction, sharper response and a thrilling soundtrack.
