Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Sets Nürburgring Record and Hits Chinese Roads
Xiaomi EV today launches and begins delivering its flagship Xiaomi SU7 Ultra range, offering the standard model, the optional Track Package, and the ultra-exclusive Nürburgring Limited Edition. The standard SU7 Ultra costs RMB 529,900, the Track Package adds RMB 100,000, and the Nürburgring Limited Edition commands RMB 814,900.
From the outset, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra set out to conquer the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the definitive test of automotive technology. “This is the true significance of our Nürburgring challenge.” Engineers based themselves at the circuit, refining every component on track before applying advances to production cars.
The production SU7 Ultra now holds the record for the Fastest Electric Executive Vehicle on the Nordschleife with a 7:04.957 lap, making it the benchmark among high-performance electric cars. Under ideal conditions, the SU7 Ultra Prototype shaved 24 seconds off, clocking 6:22.091, climbing to third overall on the leaderboard and claiming a prototype record.
Every SU7 Ultra leaves the factory with the Xiaomi Hyper Tri-Motor system, a high-power battery, track-optimised cooling and braking, dual-chamber air springs, and adaptive dampers. The saloon unleashes 1,548 PS, sprints from 0–100 km/h in 1.98 seconds without rollout, and peaks at 350 km/h. Nürburgring-tuned chassis settings provide drivers with precise control and track readiness from the outset.
Customers seeking even sharper lap times can specify the Track Package, which fits Bilstein EVO R for Ultra coilovers, ENDLESS high-performance brake pads, Pirelli P ZERO fifth-generation tyres, plus a spare set of P ZERO TROFEO RS semi-slicks, 21-inch forged wheels, carbon-fibre rear arches, and a 1.7 m² carbon-fibre roof, bringing the price to RMB 629,900.
Xiaomi crowns the lineup with the road-legal SU7 Ultra Nürburgring Limited Edition, blending the Track Package with a carbon-fibre dual-vent bonnet, rear spoiler, exterior trims, interior package, and distinctive Ultra Lightning decals. FIA-certified carbon-fibre racing bucket seats with six-point harnesses replace the standard front pair. In contrast, a semi-roll cage replaces the rear seats, increasing torsional rigidity by 12%, reducing weight by 30 kg, and enhancing roof-crush resistance by 57%. A carbon-fibre underbody panel adds up to 44 kg of downforce on the circuit.
Limited to ten units for the 2025 model year and featuring only 100 examples in total, the Nürburgring Limited Edition stands as the ultimate factory-built, road-worthy four-door performance EV, priced at RMB 814,900.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra combines explosive power with refined engineering, delivering exhilarating dynamics on the road and track. Mainland Chinese buyers can place orders now via the Xiaomi EV App or Xiaomi EV WeChat Mini Programme.
