VIATRIX™ Consumer Exoskeleton Robot Debuts at CES 2026

ULS Robotics develops exoskeleton robots and delivers one-stop exoskeleton solutions across industrial scenarios. At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026) in Las Vegas, ULS Robotics debuted its first consumer exoskeleton, the VIATRIX™ range-extending powered exoskeleton. VIATRIX™ secured the CES Innovation Awards® at launch.

VIATRIX™ uses the Float360™ floating hip joint mechanism, paired with self-developed automotive-grade motors and an AI gait-learning system. The name VIATRIX™ comes from Latin and means "traveller," and the product targets outdoor enthusiasts who want intelligent power assist. VIATRIX™ adapts to various road conditions while maintaining a fashionable design, so users can push past limits and explore further throughout the journey.

"The launch of VIATRIX™ marks ULS Robotics' official entry into the consumer market as a leader in industrial-grade exoskeletons. We have transformed 20 years of technological accumulation and 7 years of industrial applications validation into a brilliant device designed for outdoor life," said Xu Zhenhua, founder and CEO of ULS Robotics.

VIATRIX™ introduces several innovations in powered exoskeleton design. The Float360™ floating hip joint mechanism enables smooth, wide-range movement, including splits and deep squats. ULS Robotics built the proprietary automotive-grade servo motor to deliver stable, efficient power. The large-capacity battery supports up to 25km of operation and handles extreme environments from -20°C to 65°C. The AI adaptive learning system learns user gait patterns and delivers personalised assistance.

People regard the CES Innovation Awards® as a "bellwether" in consumer electronics. CTA (Consumer Technology Association) presents the awards and recognises designs and engineering that tackle global challenges and drive meaningful change. VIATRIX™ earned recognition as an award-winning exoskeleton technology at this year’s CES Innovation Awards, validating its practical application and forward-looking approach. The award also underscores ULS Robotics' expansion of its industrial-grade exoskeleton leadership into the consumer market.

ULS Robotics strengthens its position in the industrial-grade sector through five generations of product iterations. The product line covers upper limbs, waist, lower limbs, and full-body skeletons, and ULS Robotics deploys these systems across more than 30 industries, including automotive manufacturing, logistics, emergency rescue and construction.

The portfolio includes the FIT-HV PRO active electric waist exoskeleton robot, the FIT-U PRO upper limb exoskeleton robot, the PES-B passive elastic suit-back, and the PES-U mechanical energy-storing exoskeleton. Some flagship products supported projects such as the filming of "The Wandering Earth II" and the Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games and Asian Para Games.

ULS Robotics has now made its third journey to CES. In 2025, buyers purchased all its exhibits during the trade show.
