2026 Corvette Interior: Larger Displays, Luxury, Performance
Chevrolet has transformed the entire 2026 Corvette range—Stingray, E-Ray, Z06 and ZR1—by overhauling the cabin with larger, more advanced driver-centric displays, fresh colourways and premium materials, ensuring the mid-engine Corvette remains the benchmark sports car. “Corvette is the ultimate American sports car, which is why it has remained the luxury sport segment leader for more than 20 years, with the next competitor a distant second in terms of market share,” said Scott Bell, vice president, Chevrolet. “With these updates, the mid-engine Corvette will continue to cement its leadership for years to come.”
The reimagined three-screen layout brings the driver and passenger closer to the action. A 12.7-inch centre console display, a 14-inch driver information centre and a new 6.6-inch touchscreen beside the steering wheel deliver instant, high-definition data and custom layouts. “The design team considered every element — from materials, to stitching, to layout of the interior - for the 2026 Corvette,” said Phil Zak, executive design director, Global Chevrolet. “Paired with the new screens and technology, the refreshed interior enables a refined experience for the driver and the passenger.”
Engineers reconfigured the centre console so every control sits within easy reach. They relocated the drive-mode selector beside the gear lever. They installed a covered wireless charging pad beneath the infotainment screen, while a larger illuminated volume knob improves night-time visibility. Moving the HVAC controls beneath the central display opened the cockpit and created room for a passenger grab handle with a neatly positioned USB-C port. Hand-wrapped, ambient-lit cupholders showcase the Corvette crossed flags, and higher trims add genuine aluminium highlights. ZR1, with optional availability on E-Ray and Z06, gains a carbon fibre display hood that ties into existing lightweight exterior options and invites further customisation.
Updated hardware and software appear seamless, delivering sharper colours, faster response and greater functionality across the three configurable screens. The 6.6-inch auxiliary display offers driver-set read-outs such as trip data or Performance Traction Management metrics, so vital figures stay in clear view. “There’s an intentional balance of physical and virtual controls,” said the performance driving product manager, Dusty Smith. “For example, the head-up display controls are now virtualised, allowing Performance Traction Management controls to be intuitive physical buttons. The technology in the new Corvette is as strong and capable as the engine behind you.”
Fresh animations modernise the Tour, Sport and Track themes, and drivers may lock in a preferred layout or let the graphics adapt automatically to each mode. Chevrolet now offers the E-Ray Performance App across the full lineup, retaining live power-flow gauges while adding configurable acceleration timers, an enhanced G-force display, live tyre pressure and temperature data, propulsion vitals and an eAWD read-out. Owners can show these gauges on the auxiliary touchscreen or send them to the driver information centre for maximum flexibility.
A completely refreshed Performance Data Recorder leverages bigger screens to deliver high-definition video, real-time analysis, side-by-side playback and automated speed tips, helping drivers refine lap times on road or track. Google Built-in integrates seamlessly with vehicle controls and, when paired with OnStar, enables voice-activated navigation, media, messaging and climate adjustments. New apps such as Google Chrome, GameSnacks, HBO Max and Prime Video let occupants stream films, play games or browse the web while parked, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain standard.
Meticulous craftsmanship underpins the new interior. A Corvette-first asymmetrical Jet Black and Adrenaline Red scheme leads a palette that also includes Sky Cool and Medium Ash Grey with Habanero highlights, vivid Santorini Blue, rich Very Dark Atmosphere and the Ultimate Suede package with choice accent stitching. Customers may specify a mixed seating arrangement that pairs an Adrenaline Red Competition driver’s seat with a Jet Black GT2 passenger seat, while sueded microfibre can cloak almost every surface.
For enthusiasts, PTM Pro debuts across all variants, switching off stability and traction control yet maintaining ABS—and, on E-Ray, selected front-axle functions—to grant maximum authority. The ZR1’s ZTK package introduces the largest brakes ever fitted to a production Corvette, with ten-piston front and six-piston rear callipers clamping carbon-ceramic discs. An electrochromic roof lets owners tailor targa-glass tint at the touch of a button, and engineers have moved the Charge+ button to the steering wheel for effortless battery management.
Style enthusiasts can order a new asymmetrical centre stripe in Edge Red and Carbon Flash, colour-matched rocker panels, blue callipers and fresh Roswell Green Metallic or Blade Silver Metallic paint. Chevrolet builds every Corvette at the Kentucky Bowling Green Assembly Plant using domestic and global components. Stingray launched the mid-engine revolution in 2019, Z06 stunned the world in 2022 with a 670 hp naturally aspirated V8, E-Ray brought electric all-wheel drive in 2023, and ZR1 now delivers an astonishing 1,064 hp and 233 mph, proving that the 2026 Corvette interior evolution mirrors its relentless performance gains.
