Škoda Enyaq vRS: Fastest Electric SUV Hits 0-62mph in 5.4s

Škoda Auto presents the Enyaq vRS and Enyaq Coupé vRS, completing the next-generation Enyaq family alongside the new Elroq vRS. The dual-motor electric SUVs unleash 340 PS through all-wheel drive, sprint from 0–62 mph in 5.4 seconds, and reach 111 mph, making them the fastest accelerating Škoda production models. The sporting flagship opens for orders in mid-June from £51,660 on-the-road.

Drivers top up the 84 kWh battery (79 kWh net) from 10 to 80 per cent in only 26 minutes at a 185 kW DC charger and cover more than 340 miles on the WLTP cycle. An 11 kW home wallbox restores a full charge in roughly eight and a half hours.

Progressive steering, a sport chassis that lowers the front axle by 15 mm and the rear by 10 mm, and optional DCC adaptive dampers with 15 settings give the Enyaq vRS pair a dynamic yet comfortable ride. Two-piston front callipers, dedicated sports tyres and the Driving Mode Select traction mode ensure confident control, while selectable Sport and Futuristic exterior sounds heighten road presence.

Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, says: “With the Enyaq vRS and Enyaq Coupé vRS, we have made the range toppers of the new Enyaq family even more dynamic, while maintaining their high level of comfort and everyday usability. We largely achieved this thanks to the progressive steering system and, above all, the revised sport chassis with optimised damper settings. The optional DCC extends the performance range even further – from particularly sporty to very comfortable, depending on individual preferences. Apart from that, we further optimised the aerodynamics for a lower consumption and therefore an increased maximum range.”

Škoda’s Modern Solid styling introduces a gloss-black illuminated Tech-Deck Face housing key sensors behind a vertical light grille, while LED Matrix headlights deliver a Coming/Leaving Home animation. vRS-specific bumpers, black window trim, roof rails and mirror caps, plus aero-optimised 20-inch Draconis or optional 21-inch Vision alloys, underscore the performance edge. Designers offer Hyper Green paint exclusively for these models and lower drag to 0.251 for the SUV and 0.239 for the Coupé.

Inside, drivers choose between the vRS Suite and vRS Lounge Design Selections. Leather or microsuede upholstery, lime-green stitching, carbon-look décor and a perforated leather steering wheel create a sporty yet refined cabin. Heated, electrically adjustable sports seats provide massage, memory and lumbar support, while tri-zone climate control, acoustic glass and a heat pump boost comfort and efficiency.

Technology includes a 5-inch Digital Cockpit, 13-inch central display, and augmented-reality head-up display with vRS-specific graphics, plus a 12-speaker 635 W CANTON sound system. Four 45 W USB-C ports, 15 W wireless phone charging, the Virtual Pedal electric tailgate, Open-On-Approach keyless entry, and Walk-Away Locking exemplify Škoda’s Simply Clever philosophy.

Drivers benefit from the latest Travel Assist, which combines Adaptive Lane Assist, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist, and Side Assist, now enhanced by online swarm data. Intelligent Park Assist with Remote Park and Remote Trained Parking lets owners guide the Enyaq vRS into tight spaces from a smartphone, while Plug & Charge streamlines payment at compatible chargers. An optional electric-release tow bar enables towing up to 1,400 kg.

Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, says: “The IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden and Denmark makes the perfect backdrop for the new Škoda Enyaq vRS and the new Škoda Enyaq Coupé vRS. The world premiere of the sporty vRS versions completing the new Enyaq family and their presentation at the event’s venues represents an ideal link-up with Škoda’s and the world’s longest-running main sponsorship in any world championship. Moreover, ice hockey is the national sport in our company’s home country, the Czech Republic. We are pleased to present our all-electric range topper to the fans for the first time. We look forward to enjoying exciting games, thrilling action and the exhilarating atmosphere together.”

Škoda will showcase both models inside the arenas during the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden and Denmark from 9 to 25 May, reinforcing a sponsorship that began in 1993 and remains the longest-running partnership in world championship history.

Order the Škoda Enyaq vRS or Enyaq Coupé vRS from June and experience the brand’s quickest, most advanced electric SUVs, engineered for swift, sustainable and versatile everyday driving.
