Andersen Joins Octopus for Smart EV Charging From 7p/kWh
Andersen, the UK’s premium design-led electric vehicle charge point brand, has integrated its home EV chargers with Octopus Energy’s smart EV tariff, Intelligent Octopus Go, to deliver smart charging from as little as 7p per kilowatt-hour (kWh). The partnership provides Andersen customers with access to low-cost, low-carbon EV charging that aligns with their schedule and electric vehicle usage at home.
To mark the launch, new Andersen customers receive 5,000 miles of free charging with the UK’s most popular EV tariff. The offer is valid until 31 December 2025, making it a timely way to reduce EV running costs without compromising design or performance.
Many existing Andersen customers can enable Intelligent Octopus Go straight away. They plug the EV into the charger and confirm how much charge it needs. The tariff then schedules charging automatically for times when electricity is cheapest and greenest. A typical driver covering 10,000 miles each year could save up to £585 by switching from a standard tariff to Intelligent Octopus Go, unlocking lower EV charging rates while supporting a cleaner grid.

Intelligent Octopus Go now integrates across Andersen’s customisable, premium range, designed, engineered and hand-built in Bedfordshire. The lineup includes the award-winning A3 and A2, which feature the brand’s hidden, tethered charging cable— a unique design that keeps the installation neat and discreet.
Alongside sits the compact Andersen Quartz, available in socketed or tethered configurations, and the newest Andersen Quartz Vision, which adds a digital display for at-a-glance charging information. Each product offers hundreds of colour and finish combinations, allowing customers to match their charger to their home, vehicle, or lifestyle while enjoying reliable smart EV charging at home.
Intelligent Octopus Go is compatible with all Andersen Quartz models, all Andersen A3 models, and all Andersen A2 single-phase models sold since August 2023, providing broad compatibility across the current range.
Andersen ships products within one to two days, with installation typically arranged within two to three weeks.
