Hyundai IONIQ 6 N to Electrify Goodwood Festival Debut

Hyundai Motor Company gears up to unveil its eagerly awaited Hyundai IONIQ 6 N electric sports sedan at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 10 July 2025 at 12:30 BST (20:30 KST), offering an early glimpse of next-generation N brand performance.

The low-slung saloon benefits from fully redesigned suspension geometry that lowers the roll centre and extends the caster trail, sharpening the on-centre feel, steering feedback and self-centring. Electronically controlled stroke-sensing dampers blend ride comfort with precise handling, providing drivers with heightened confidence on the road and track.

Advanced N e-shift technology now operates in every drive mode, pairing motorsport-inspired close gear ratios with the new N Ambient Shift Light, which flashes at the perfect moment for decisive upshifts. The enriched N Active Sound+ system deepens immersion by delivering authentic performance tones that respond instantly to throttle input.

Drivers can tailor the enhanced N Drift Optimiser to their skill level, adjusting the car’s attitude for controlled slides that showcase the IONIQ 6 N’s interactive character and electronic sophistication.

Hyundai’s teaser film on the Hyundai N Worldwide YouTube channel captures the IONIQ 6 N carving a circuit, while fresh images reveal a profile sculpted by intense aerodynamic development. Flared wings, a widened track, lightweight wheels and a motorsport-inspired swan-neck rear spoiler boost high-speed stability and efficiency.

Festival visitors will witness the IONIQ 6 N’s public debut alongside the Hyundai N performance lineup inside the dedicated N Booth, where race simulators and photo stations await. Completing every activity unlocks exclusive grandstand seats overlooking Goodwood’s iconic hill-climb.

The IONIQ 6 N extends Hyundai’s drive to innovate, building on the award-winning IONIQ 5 N and promising to disrupt the EV market by uniting speed, agility and everyday usability under the N pillars of Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability and Everyday Sports Car.

“The IONIQ 6 N has been developed to provide the most engaging driving experience possible in an EV,” said Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group. “Hyundai N will once again disrupt the EV segment, not with headline-grabbing numbers, but by demonstrating how fun an electric car driving experience can be.”

Enthusiasts worldwide can look forward to the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N’s electrifying ascent at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 10 July 2025.
