Bugatti 2025 Highlights: Veyron, W16 and Tourbillon

Bugatti 2025 delivered an extraordinary year for the marque. The brand achieved its highest production total in history, and it matched that scale with a broad set of milestones and new initiatives. Bugatti also showcased the focus and craft of its teams in Molsheim, alongside trusted partners worldwide, as it prepared the ground for 2026 and beyond.

Bugatti marked 20 years of the Veyron throughout 2025, while it also built its future at pace. The marque pushed ahead with a new world-class Molsheim Atelier, accelerated Tourbillon development, and expanded bespoke personalisation and lifestyle offerings that carry the Bugatti Art de Vivre beyond the automotive world.

Twenty years ago, Prof. Dr Ferdinand Karl Piëch set an audacious vision in motion and reshaped the automotive landscape. Bugatti turned that ambition into the Veyron, and the car redefined what a road car could achieve while creating a new segment: the hypercar.

The Bugatti Festival in Molsheim, organised by Les Enthousiastes Bugatti Alsace, brought historic and contemporary Bugatti models together for a parade through the marque’s home streets. The celebrations continued across the Atlantic at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, where 47 Veyron examples gathered in the most extensive collection ever assembled, and the moment underscored how strongly the Veyron still resonates with enthusiasts worldwide.

Bugatti also used 2025 to spotlight key milestones for the final models that carry the legendary W16 engine, first introduced with the Veyron. The W16 Mistral leads this closing chapter as Bugatti’s first roadster since the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, and it delivers the ultimate swansong for the engine. Bugatti began first deliveries in 2025, and the marque used highly individualised projects to link the W16 Mistral to more than a century of Bugatti roadster heritage.

Bugatti also delivered the final Bolide to its new owner in 2025. The car takes inspiration from the client’s cherished Type 35, and it wears bespoke ‘Black Blue’ and ‘Special Blue Lyonnais’ shades that celebrate Bugatti’s competition colours. Bugatti closed the Bolide story after intensive pre-delivery track testing, as the specialised Bugatti Quality team focused on delivering extraordinary power, exceptional dynamic capability, and an unmatched thrill.

Bugatti pairs an ultra-lightweight design with the raw force of the iconic W16 in the Bolide, and the marque engineers it for the world’s most demanding racing circuits. Bugatti also created a global network of Certified Bolide Centres, where specially trained technicians manage every stage of ownership, from meticulous pre-delivery inspection and a personalised handover to private storage, servicing, and expert vehicle preparation. This approach lets each customer explore the Bolide’s capability with complete confidence.

In August 2025, Bugatti unveiled Programme Solitaire and reignited coachbuilding through a dedicated initiative for truly bespoke, one-of-a-kind vehicles. Bugatti limits the programme to two unique masterpieces per year. The inaugural creation, Brouillard, presents a breathtaking coupé with a distinctive exterior and interior design, and it pays homage to Ettore Bugatti’s beloved horse. Bugatti unveiled Brouillard at Monterey Car Week, and the marque will reveal the programme’s second creation this month.

Bugatti 2025 also signalled the start of Tourbillon customer configurations, as owners began shaping new specifications and new expressions. Customers can now explore 23 new exterior colours, 20 new leather configurations, and the striking 'Équipe Pur Sang' package, which pays homage to Bugatti's motorsport heritage.

Bugatti continues intensive Tourbillon development, and the marque is transforming its spiritual home at the same time. In Molsheim, Bugatti has advanced construction of a new world-class Atelier to support the assembly of the Tourbillon and its advanced hybrid powertrain. The new facility doubles production capacity and adds upgraded equipment, and Bugatti expects it to deliver the most efficient manufacturing workflow in the marque’s 116-year history.

“With the Tourbillon, Bugatti entered a new chapter that will unfold in 2026. This is a complete reinvention of what the brand has produced over the last 20 years. Every aspect of the car, from its V16 hybrid powertrain to its bespoke craftsmanship, embodies the marque’s vision for the future and relentless pursuit of perfection.” Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac.

Bugatti also placed its global community at the centre of the year. The marque builds that community with customers, cherished partners, and dedicated enthusiasts worldwide, and it focuses on relationships as much as it focuses on extraordinary cars. Bugatti welcomed new partners into the family while it also celebrated established partners, including Bugatti UAE, which earned the Global Service Partner of the Year award. Bugatti dealers continue to serve as the brand’s vital voice to customers, and regional meetings in Baku, Las Vegas, and Berlin helped partners align around shared ambition and fresh thinking.

Bugatti treats customer experiences as a cornerstone of its philosophy, and the 2025 calendar reflected that commitment. The marque hosted a Grand Tour through Portugal, brought the community together at the Bugatti Festival in Molsheim and Monterey Car Week in California, and continued the traditional Christmas Dinner at Château Saint-Jean. Bugatti designed these moments to help owners drive and enjoy their cars as intended, while strengthening friendships across the community.

“Our goal is to bring the Bugatti family together, not only through the cars we create but through moments and experiences that our customers will remember for a lifetime. Every journey and every interaction is designed to celebrate the craftsmanship and emotion that make Bugatti what it is. We want our owners to feel the full joy of driving their cars and to forge friendships that last far beyond the road. Therefore, this spirit of community, nurtured for over a century, will continue to define Bugatti in 2026 and beyond.” Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director of Bugatti Automobiles.

Bugatti also continued to extend the Bugatti Art de Vivre beyond the automotive realm. The brand translated its heritage of precision, craftsmanship, and emotion into a broader cultural landscape, and it closed 2025 with strong momentum across its lifestyle portfolio. Bugatti showcased its luxury lifestyle positioning at the Bugatti Home Atelier in Milan, where the configuration experience mirrors the personalisation of a hyper sports car. Bugatti also delivered highly bespoke creations, including the one-of-one limited edition Bugatti Baby II by Hedley Studios in collaboration with Jascha Straub.

“The continued growth and evolution of Bugatti’s Lifestyle product portfolio is a strategic extension of the brand's long-term. It is not about diversification alone, but about translating Bugatti’s DNA – innovation, excellence and uncompromising quality – into enduring experiences and carefully curated environments. Through this approach, we ensure that the brand’s values are expressed consistently across every touchpoint, reaching new customer groups and creating lasting emotional connection as well as economic value beyond the automobiles.” Wiebke Ståhl, Managing Director of Bugatti International.

Bugatti strengthened this lifestyle universe through collaborations in high watchmaking with Jacob & Co., refined luxury accessories such as Bugatti Eyewear, and high-end immersive moments that bring the Bugatti Art de Vivre to life. Bugatti will continue expanding this universe with a stronger focus on holistic experiences, introducing new Bugatti-branded residences while opening Bugatti Lifestyle to a broader global audience. Bugatti will also remain faithful to its origins and continue to express the marque's purest essence.

As 2025 draws to a close, Bugatti stands at a pivotal moment that connects a storied past with an ambitious future. The year ahead will mark the 100th anniversary of the Bugatti Royale and the 10th anniversary of the Chiron, while Bugatti will also begin production of the Tourbillon. Bugatti will elevate customer gatherings with additional track days for Bolide owners, building on the first ‘Feeling The Track’ drive events held in 2025 at Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France. Bugatti experts will support the drivers as they again experience the relentless power and precision of their track-only hyper sports cars on some of the world’s most iconic circuits. Bugatti will also continue its Grand Tour journeys across breathtaking landscapes, deepening bonds within the Bugatti community.

“2026 will be a landmark year for the Bugatti teams around the world. It will be an exciting year, but also a challenging one, and I could not be prouder of our people. They are our greatest asset. Their dedication and expertise make everything we achieve at Bugatti possible; they are at the heart of our success.” Christophe Piochon, President of Bugatti Automobiles.

Bugatti now moves from an extraordinary 2025 into a milestone 2026 with a constant truth in view. The marque honours its past, and that legacy continues to inspire the road ahead. The legacy of Ettore Bugatti and the commitment of every individual behind the brand keep pushing Bugatti forward, as the marque blends innovation with a relentless pursuit of excellence.
