Mercedes-AMG Expands 2026 AMG Experience Track and Road
Mercedes-AMG confirmed the continuation and expansion of its 2026 AMG Experience season. The programme will deliver immersive on-track performance driving experiences at four iconic US circuits. It will also expand the elevated "On Road" programme, which takes inspiration from the striking landscapes of the Yellowstone region.
For the first time, the AMG Experience will visit the historic Virginia International Raceway (VIR). The team will offer a full schedule of driving experiences at the circuit.
Mercedes-AMG also updated the ADVANCED Track curriculum for 2026. The programme now runs as a single-day, track-focused experience. The new format reduces costs compared to the previous two-day curriculum and provides drivers with the fastest route into the PRO and PRO+ driving programmes.
Mercedes-AMG will run 2026 on-track events at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, from May 15 to 20 and August 14 to 19. The circuit sits around 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge and spans a 1,600-acre site in the Sonoma Mountains. The venue has hosted significant moments across NASCAR, INDYCAR and NHRA drag racing.
The programme will also arrive at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia, from September 11 to 15. VIR first opened in 1957, and the team revitalised it in 2000. The circuit pairs a strong heritage with resort-style amenities and demanding driving challenges. The Full Course stretches 3.27 miles and includes 17 turns and nearly 130 feet of elevation change. The layout blends high-speed straights, technical corners, and dramatic climbs and descents. The track experience combines speed, precision and scenery, which has helped VIR earn its reputation as one of the most exciting and beautiful circuits in the country.
Mercedes-AMG will then host track driving at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, from October 22 to 27. The venue hosts a wide range of professional and amateur events, including Petit Le Mans, Drift Atlanta, and The Mitty. The circuit features significant elevation changes and challenging turns to test a driver's capability at the wheel of Mercedes-AMG’s highest-performance vehicles.
The season will conclude at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, from December 9 to 15. COTA hosts the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ and features a demanding 3.41-mile layout with significant elevation change. The AMG GT 63 PRO, in particular, suits this setting with engineering that prioritises precision, power and performance.

AMG Experience "On Road" returns in 2026 with the "Western Range Tour" in Wyoming and Montana from July 20 to 25. This exclusive six-day excursion will feature a premier line-up of AMG vehicles and curated driving routes through some of the West’s most dramatic landscapes. The journey will begin and end in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Participants will drive scenic routes through Grand Teton National Park and continue to the geothermal wonders, towering peaks, and sweeping valleys that define the Yellowstone region. Along the way, they will experience pristine lakes, vast grasslands, and the raw beauty of the American West, while travelling in the comfort and performance of a Mercedes-AMG.
A highlight of this trip: an off-road experience in the legendary AMG G 63 that takes participants beyond the pavement and deep into Montana's wild terrain. Guided by expert instructors, participants will put the power and precision of the G 63 to the test as they navigate rocky climbs and open backcountry trails.
Each day of this bucket-list programme will pair extraordinary scenery with exceptional cuisine and inspiring company. The experience will also include luxurious accommodations that elevate every stage of the expedition.
