DYMAG HALO Carbon Wheel for Porsche 911 GT3 RS Launched
DYMAG® Technologies Limited, a world leader in lightweight automotive wheels, has launched the HALO Wheel, the first complete carbon composite car wheel designed exclusively for the Porsche (992.1) 911 GT3 RS. The new carbon fibre wheel is designed for drivers who seek maximum performance, precision handling, and reduced unsprung mass on both road and track.
Engineers combined a forged aluminium centrepiece with DYMAG®’s patented carbon fibre rim technology, developed entirely in-house to deliver high stiffness, strength, and responsiveness at the lightest feasible weight without compromising safety. This carbon hybrid wheel technology enhances acceleration, braking, and steering feel, while improving durability for high-performance driving.
HALO arrives with technical specifications suited to the 911 GT3 RS. The front wheel measures 20ˮ x 10ˮ with a 350 kg load rating and a weight of 7.49 kg. The rear wheel measures 21ˮ x 13ˮ with a 615 kg load rating and a weight of 9.77 kg. Certification includes SAE, JWL and most international standards at launch. TÜV approval is in progress. The patented DYMAG® BX-F™ flange profile helps minimise bead seat damage and maintain tyre pressure under extreme impacts, where conventional wheels often suffer complete pressure loss. Compatibility is available for the Porsche (992.1) 911 GT3 RS, and DYMAG has additional applications in development.
