Evice and Twisted Forge British Electric Powertrain Alliance
Evice Technologies, a Tier-1 provider of specialist electric powertrain solutions, today signs a Letter of Intent with Twisted Automotive to supply bespoke EV architecture across Twisted’s flagship range. Under the pact, Twisted immediately taps Evice’s state-of-the-art electrification hardware and software, backed by world-class battery and drivetrain expertise. Evice will deliver a turnkey package that includes prototype engineering, rigorous testing and production supply, proving the versatility of its modular electrification platform for British automotive manufacturing.
This best-of-British partnership fuses the powerful, silent and effortless performance of Evice’s electric powertrain with Twisted’s celebrated “Best, Made Better” ethos, ensuring every driver enjoys an unforgettable, zero-emission experience. The first feasibility study, Project Overland, starts in Q4 2025 and will involve extensive testing and benchmarking of a Twisted Defender study vehicle, which will debut at the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace from 5 to 7 September 2025.
After Project Overland, the teams will evaluate electrified powertrains for the Range Rover Classic and T-Bug platforms, exploiting Evice’s flexible EV technology to suit multiple vehicle types and demanding specifications.
